If you have been following my blog, you might already know that I LOVE to cook. I am always in the kitchen trying new recipes as well as making my own that my family enjoys.
While I do enjoy cooking, there are days when the canned meals and frozen meals come in handy, especially those busy days when you don’t have much time to come up with a home cooked meal.
My daughter Hannah LOVES the Chef Boyardee products. My other children like them as well, but they happen to be one of Hannah’s favorites.
When I go grocery shopping, I usually grab a few cans of the Chef Boyardee Beef Raviolis to keep on stock in the pantry. On the weekend when it is lunch time, I often will ask the kids what they want to eat. Miss Hannah will usually grab one of the cans of raviolis which means a lunch for Hannah in just a couple minutes.
Since my children enjoy eating these products and are products I grew up eating, I thought it would be fun to make my own recipe using the Chef Boyardee Beef Raviolis. One thing that my entire family likes is lasagna, therefore I created an easy lasagna made from the Chef Boyardee Beef Raviolis that also includes some other yummy ingredients.
Yesterday was my daughter Hailey’s birthday. We had some friends over for dinner and I shared with them my Easy Ravioli Lasagna Recipe that was a HIT. I will definitely be making this again! Check out my recipe below:
Easy Ravioli Lasagna Recipe + Chef Boyardee Recipe Contest |
- 4 (15oz) cans Chef Boyardee Beef Raviolis
- 2 cups Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 10oz jar spaghetti sauce
- 5oz chopped spinach (can use canned)
- Pour 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce in 11×9 baking dish.
- In a bowl, add cheeses (except 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese), eggs and spinach and mix.
- Place a layer of beef raviolis on bottom of baking dish.
- Top with spoonfuls of cheese mixture.
- Add another layer of raviolis.
- Top this layer with more spoonfuls of cheese mixture.
- Add last layer of beef raviolis and pour remaining spaghetti sauce to cover all raviolis and cover with foil.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
- Remove from oven and remove foil. Top with remaining 1/2 cup of Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, cool and enjoy!
What I LOVE about this recipe is that the kids at their SPINACH and never said a word. I think this is the only way that I can get the whole family to eat spinach π .Β There are lots of other recipe ideas using the Chef Boyardee products on their website too.
Right now Chef Boyardee is having a recipe contest and you only have a few days left to enter.
The weekly winner receives a $500 prize as well as $75 in Chef coupons. Can you get creative in the next day or two?

βI wrote this review while participating in a In Home Party campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Chef Boyardee and received product samples to facilitate my party and review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.β
