The last year or so I have been having fun creating all sorts of recipes for this blog as well as my cooking blog to impress my family as well as my readers. Baking all these sweet treats has provided me with some great content for my blogs, but definitely added a few pounds π that I am on a mission to lose.
Towards the end of last month I joined the gym. This isn’t the first time I have had a gym membership and after a couple weeks of going almost every day, I am still motivated to go. For me I tend to get bored of things easily. What I do is go in the morning before I get a chance to do anything else.
In the past 2 weeks I have lost 8 pounds and it has not been easy. I have been watching my calories and of course getting about 1 hour of exercise in about 5 times a week. Today I didn’t get on the scale but I don’t want to get discouraged if I didn’t lose anything from the last time I weighed myself. Right now I am okay with losing inches too!
I only have 13 more pounds to go until I reach my goal. I will keep you posted.Β Β π

Good for you!! I have the same problem. I love to bake, but these past couple of months I have gained back all the baby weight. I had enough though, so now I’m counting calories and trying to exercise a few days a week (hopefully more later) to try and lose weight. You can totally do it!!

8 lbs is awesome!!!! Way to go. Keep up the good work. I too need to get better about counting my calories. I think Im in denial and don’t want to know what I eating! LOL
