When there is ice cream in the freezer, it does NOT last long. It is one of those things the girls here in the house love to eat (without asking). So with that, I try to not buy ice cream too often. Our family usually goes to the ice cream shop on Tuesday for our family night a couple times per month and once in a while I will buy a carton of ice cream for a treat.
This month we had the opportunity to review some YUMMY ice cream from Lovin’ Scoopful. My taste buds are calling this stuff “gourmet ice cream”. Lovin Scoopful is a rich and creamy ice cream that currently comes in 13 different flavors. We have only had the opportunity to try 2 of the 13 and I plan to try them all.

This was definitely a Kodak moment and thankfully this mom always has a digital camera around. I hurried and snapped the photo and shared it on the Lovin Scoopful Facebook page. We were able to try the flavors What The Fudge and So Good Cookies And Cream. Both these are DELICIOUS. My only hope is my local grocery store will soon carry all the flavors. A couple weeks ago they had three and now they have five. So there is hope!
Okay, so what is the scoop on this ice cream? For one we think it is really good. This stuff also has 1/2 the fat and fewer calories than other premium ice cream brands. Lovin’ Scoopful also donates 25% of their post tax profits ($50,000 minimum annually) to the Special Olympics. I LOVE buying products that help those in need!
