My first bike that I actually remember as a child was my yellow Schwinn with the banana seat and the big handlebars. This was my first bike with no training wheels and my poor Nana actually broke her leg teaching me how to ride it.
Now that I am an adult, I am still a fan of the Schwinn bikes and even own a Schwinn Beach Cruiser that I ride when the kids want to take a ride around the neighborhood together.

I had a Schwinn 10 speed when I was a teenager! That bike got used! I would bike to my friend’s house who was 4 miles away just about everyday!
