When it comes to things my kids do in their free time, I would have to say video games. All four of my children love to play games on the computer, cell phone, iPad, etc. One game that all of my children LOVE is the Ganz Webkinz game. I think the game is pretty cute and I even have an account even though I don’t play it too often.
I was excited to heard about a new game from Ganz called Tail Towns Friends that I knew my 8 year old daughter Hannah was going to LOVE. This is a cute game that can be played through your Facebook account. When you first play the game you are taken through a tutorial that shows you simple steps on how to complete the goals in the game. During the game you are complete the given goals such as planting and harvesting apples and when you complete a goal, you are then given a new goal to complete.
My daughter and I had fun planting apples, harvesting them and also building some storage sheds online for the fruit when it harvests. After I went through the tutorial and some of the goals for the game, I then let her play the game on her own since she didn’t need my help anymore.
What makes this game a little different than then the other games on Facebook is there are actual Tail Towns Friends figurines you can purchase that will unlock the character’s exclusive storyline and “Secret Diary Goals” that helps to give users insight into his/her life.
We received the Baker Takes The Cake figurine which is perfect since I LOVE to cook. I actually have the figurine on my desk and my daughter got to use the Secret Code to unlock the character in her game.
What is neat about the Ganz Tail Towns Friends figurines is when you unlock the character in the game using the secret code, you are also rewarded with an exclusive specialty virtual item. If you or your children have played online virtual games, you know that these exclusive virtual items can be pretty cool to have.
I enjoyed playing this game with my daughter and plan to purchase another Tail Towns Friends figurine for my daughter for the holidays. I think I might have to setup my own account too besides the account I setup for my daughter.
