When it comes to food, I love me some good BBQ! Even though it is Winter, I will still be BBQ’ing on those days when it is not raining. Today it hit about 80 degrees here in sunny California where I live. I don’t know about you, but I think I am having some weird weather. I love cooking no matter the weather, because if I am not outside with the hubby cooking on the BBQ grill, we will have something yummy baking on the stove or oven here at my house.
While I have always been a fan of the Lawry’s Seasoning Salt (I use it daily), there are quite a few products from Lawry’s that I had not had a chance to try but had caught my eye at the store and online. Thanks to MyBlogSpark, I was given the opportunity to review a couple of the Lawry’s Marinades. I am a HUGE FAN of marinades. I love cooking chicken and steak and I love using different marinades to make delicious and different meals for my family each night.
I received a Lawry’s Get Grilling kit that included two of Lawry’s new marinades (Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato and Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ), a set of skewers, a bottle of their classic seasoning salt, some seasoning mix packets and a 13×9 marinating dish w/lid. I was too excited when I seen the marinades and was happy to use the Szechuan Sweet & Sour BBQ the next night. This stuff is GREAT with chicken breasts. My whole family loved the dish I made for them using this marinade.
My Favorite Marinade so far………..
About Lawry’s Marinades:
LAWRY’S® Marinades Each of our signature marinades is made with real fruit juice—instant inspiration for meat, poultry, fish and vegetables. Simply pour it on and let marinate for 30 minutes. Then grill, bake, broil or sauté. It’s that easy! Marinades also help tenderize meat.
I tried the Tuscan Sun-Dried Tomato with chicken breasts too! Both of these marinades are awesome and will be something I keep as a staple in my pantry. If you visit the Lawry’s website, you will find some great recipes that includes their marinades. With Thanksgiving coming this month, now is the time to get some ideas for those side dishes that will impress your guess and have them asking how to make it.
