So I don’t know what to do with my hair. About 4 years ago I dyed my hair blonde. Since I am naturally a brunette it was a pain having to dye your hair every coupe months so that I didn’t have crazy roots. I had a friend who was a hairdresser at a salon that would come over on one her days off to do my hair. Well she happened to buy a new brand of products and I think she left the solution on my hair a little too long because it melted quite a bit of my hair off. For a LONG time, I mean over a couple years I couldn’t do much with my hair. Only the hair she was touching up melted, so not all of my hair was messed up, but enough to not feel my hair was NOT pretty so I wore a ponytail daily.
The blonde days…
Well now my hair has grown own. My hair is back to its natural color and I am feeling a little bored with it. I don’t want to put dye in my hair, but I am not feeling these gray hairs that are popping up on me. I told my daughters and a friend I was going to try coloring those grays with a sharpie.Β π
The thought of hair extensions has been there too!
What I have been doing is using a flat iron on my hair to make it look smooth. The last couple days I have been curling my hair too! I actually have been thinking of getting a hair crimper just for fun.
I guess I could look on Pinterest for some new ideas too!
I haven’t done anything new with my hair in such a long time.
I need a new style too. I’ve had the same one for years.
Oh la la, I love the blonde look!
About two years ago I cut my long hair all off. I went from hair down to my butt to a super short almost pixy cut. I love it! Plus by going short it doesn’t show the gray’s as much.
I like the hair you have now. Your natural hair color and style is very pretty! I would color the gray over with a color that matches your hair color and maybe cut is a little shorter, however, I really like your hair now!
I like your natural hair color a lot, but I totally get the need to cover the pesky grays. I was so mad when the day finally arrived when I had to start the routine root maintenance because of that!!!!
Well I have been going grey for a few months now. I am getting tons of compliments on how good the grey looks. sometimes it is hard, but usually I don’t mind it.
I cover my gray. My Mom doesn’t have a grey hair on her head, but would love to have grey hair. π I like both your natural and blond colors on you. Maybe you could go red/burgundy. Or blonde highlights, so the gray wasn’t as noticeable.
Ooh I need new do too! M keeps pulling my hair lol
Can’t wait to see what you decide. I’m in need of a change too.
I need a new one too.
What about highlights?
Remember when I used to have you pluck out my gray hairs! Until you said “if I pluck them all out you’re going to be bald”
Blonde is so hard to keep up with when you have darker hair.
I love your natural hair color – it is pretty!
I like the dark hair. I usually blow dry my hair straight or curl it. I like it curled wish I could wake up that way.
I have never had extensions, but I have definitely thought of them a time or two.
I’m going through too right now. I finally got a cut now I need a color. I hope the hair extensions work out for you!
I’m at that bored stage of hair too! I have brown hair and did highlights for a while but haven’t done anything in about 10 years! I need to do something not too drastic
I used to dye my hair every month, but I’m finally happy with my natural black color. I hate having to keep coloring it when I do lighten it up.
Maybe some hightlights and lowlights! I think your natural color is very pretty!
I hate my thin, brittle hair! I was thing of getting burgundy highlights in min just to shake things up a bit.
Sorry that my above comment makes no sense, my keyboard is acting up, lol
I totally feel you on the frequent maintenance for blonde hair- I’ve had highlights as long as I can remember & it takes like 4 hours every couple of months. I’m so ready to just go back to dark!
I’m thinking of going with highlights & possibly even bangs.
I love your natural hair color too!
I like your natural color! Get some highlights!
I love the blonde!
I am actually scheduling an appointment for a cut, color (demi which will wash out since I don’t have grays yet) and style within the next few days. I’m looking forward to a much needed update!
I so need to do something with mine too. It’s in that “stage” to short to do anything, to long to look short, LOL – it’s just a mess.
