So the first stop on my NYC adventure was to Central Park which was a ton of fun. This stop was called Skye’s Scenic Ride. Since the Pop Art Pixie Skye likes the wildlife, this was a perfect spot to go. You can read about Stop #1 here. The next stop was to the Magnolia Bakery. Stop #2 was called Tatum’s Tea Party since Pop Art Pixie Tatum likes to bake.
At the Magnolia Bakery we all had lunch and learned how to ice cupcakes.I thought lunch at the Magnolia Bakery was awesome. I had a YUMMY chicken wrap. I then decorated my cupcake with blue icing and added a few sprinkles. On Friday we made the Crayola Pop Art Glass Plate craft. What was neat was they brought the plates to Magnolia Bakery and below my iced cupcake lays my cool plate I made the night before.
Each of us had fun decorating cupcakes. I only decorated one, but Ariyona and Hailey got to decorate two cupcakes. I will tell you that the icing is definitely SWEET at the Magnolia Bakery.
After we got done with lunch, we took a break and got to walk around Rockfeller Plaza. We decided to take a peek around Legoland and a few of the other spots near. I wish we would have time to have went ice skating. My favorite part of Rockfeller Plaza was watching the people putting the lights on the tree. I only wished we would have been there when they actually light the tree!
We didn’t get too much time here before we were on our way to our next stop. Stay tuned to find out where we went at Stop #3!

“My trip to NYC with my daughters was an all expense paid trip courtesy of Crayola. Thank you Crayola for providing me and my daughters with this opportunity that we will remember for a lifetime”

Whoa — the scaffolding around that three is HUGE!
It looks like such a fun trip! I spent 24 hours in NYC in September — there’s so much to see; you can’t do it all unless you live there.

It looks like you guys had an AWESOME trip! I would love to decorate cupcakes, how fun. 🙂 I was in New York briefly during a flight layover – I spent a few hours with a friend checking out Times Square and getting dinner. I would like to go back and spend more time!
