I am participating in the Live Nation’s Backstreet Boys “In A World” promotion and will be receiving tickets as a donation for my participation. No monetary compensation was received.
I will admit that I like the Backstreet Boys. In junior high it was the New Kids On The Block I listened to. After high school the Backstreet Boys became popular internationally and being young and in love, I instantly became a fan.
I remember being in LOVE with the songs “Quit Playing Games With My Heart” and “As Long As You Love Me” and singing them out loud while driving in my car.
I am excited that the Backstreet Boys announced they will be releasing a BRAND NEW album. They will also be embarking on a 24 city North American tour that will include all five of the original band members – Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Litrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson. This new album is set to release on July 30, 2013. The tour will kick off on August 2, 2013 at the Charter One Pavilion in Chicago, IL and end the tour with a stop at the Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord, CA.
The Backstreet Boys is the best selling boy and and it has been over a decade since these boys have been on tour. I am thrilled that they are making a comeback for their old fans and make way for a whole new generation of fans.
