The past four days have been a lot of fun and filled with parties. It started with Thursday through Saturday with parties in Chicago with some of my favorite brands and friends. Yesterday the weekend ended with a party at home some of our friends for a little party that included tea time, lunch and a tasty dessert to end the party with.
When I think of the tea parties, I think of dressing up, cute tea cups and of course FUN. I really enjoyed having tea parties when I was a little girl and it is something that my daughters have always enjoyed too, especially at grandmas house. Since this weekend was my daughter’s 9th birthday, I thought it would only make sense to throw a cute little tea party and invite some of her friends.
The party started with dressing up in pretty hats, drinking out of cute little teacups and after lunch enjoying some tasty Cadbury Ice Cream Bars from Blue Bunny.
You know up until this weekend, I don’t think I have ever had a Cadbury Ice Cream bar. I kept these yummy bars in my freezer for a couple weeks in preparation for our party and it was really tempting to not try them beforehand. For those of you that haven’t tried these delicious bars either, the Cadbury Ice Cream Bar features the newest indulgent flavors that include:
- Premium Cadbury® Royal Dark™ – Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury Royal Dark chocolaty coating.
- Premium Cadbury® English Toffee – Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat toffee ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with toffee pieces.
- Classic Cadbury® Vanilla Chocolate – Creamy Blue Bunny reduced fat vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating.
- Classic Cadbury® Caramello™ – Creamy Blue Bunny Reduced fat vanilla ice cream swirled with caramel sauce all dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating.
So after the girls enjoyed their tea party, we BBQ’d a yummy lunch and then everyone enjoyed the Cadbury Ice Cream Bars. I gave everyone the option to pick out which out of the four flavors they wanted to try and the Vanilla Chocolate and English Toffee flavor seemed to be the favorites.
