“I participated in a sponsored campaign on behalf of Sverve for Revolution Foods. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
When I am shopping for groceries and I have my two youngest children with me, they almost always ask me for one of the lunch type meal kits in the refrigerated area (she can mention a brand here if she wants). I do like to be the cool mom sometimes but I really prefer to pack my kids their own meal so I know what they are actually eating.
I was excited to find out about Revolution Foods, a company founded by two moms on a mission. A mission that has been igniting a healthy food movement in schools nationwide. These moms have come up with Meal Kits that are a new and convenient way for families to eat meals that not only taste good, but are made with natural and high quality ingredients. The Revolution Foods Meal Kits contain NO artificial colors, NO artificial flavors and NO preservatives (and, meat free of nitrites and nitrates).
The Meal Kits from Revolution Foods can be found in the refrigerated deli meat section at grocery stores like Safeway, H-E-B, Whole Foods Market, Target and more. I haven’t seen these yet but I will be definitely be grabbing one of each variety for my son to try. He is currently in kindergarten and has to bring a healthy snack each day. Although I like packing his lunch, I wouldn’t mind sending him with one of these Meal Kits.
The Meal Kits are currently available in four different varieties including:
Turkey & Cheddar
- oven-roasted True Story™ turkey
- bite-sized slices of real cheddar cheese
- crispy honey wheat crackers
- strawberry 100% fruit snack
Ham & Cheddar
- True Story™ honey ham
- bite-sized slices of real cheddar cheese
- crispy honey wheat crackers
- wildberry 100% fruit snack
Cheese Pizza
- pizza crust, made with whole grain
- natural pizza sauce
- shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- wildberry 100% fruit snack
Peanut Butter & Jelly
- natural creamy peanut butter
- natural grape jelly
- crispy honey wheat crackers
- strawberry 100% fruit snack
I love that these meals are healthy and also encourage our kids to create a meal for themselves. I think I would be interested in having one of these for a meal for myself!

These sound fantastic, especially for my preschooler!

I love these kind of meals because it takes all of the thought out of preparation. My son’s lunch usually consists of a sandwich, fruit, veggie, and yogurt.

I struggle for good variety for school snacks. We do lots of granola bars.
