One food I have to eat weekly is tacos. There are many Tuesdays where I call out “Taco Tuesday” for an excuse to make tacos for dinner or go out to eat tacos.
Last week I went to Del Taco to try their Turkey Tacos.
I have tried turkey burgers in the past and even turkey dogs but had yet to try a turkey taco. I was a little excited when I heard that Del Taco had turkey tacos and was curious on how they were going to taste.
After I ordered my turkey tacos I was anxious to take a bite but I had to snap my pictures first while the people around me probably wondered why I was taking pictures of a taco. 🙂
The Turkey Tacos are good in my opinion. They remind me of eating a ground taco of course but with the turkey taste. I took the first couple bites without any of the hot sauce. I then finished my taco with their Del Scorcho sauce that I LOVE. It was my first time I think eating hot sauce on anything turkey and I thought it was good.
I brought home a couple tacos for my kids and they didn’t even notice that they were turkey tacos. My youngest said she thought it was a regular taco.
Del Taco’s Turkey Tacos feature lean, seasoned ground turkey that has 33 percent less fat than its seasoned beef yet offers the same craveable flavor; each Turkey Taco has only 150 calories.
