In just a couple weeks when school starts I will have a daughter that is a senior and who will also be driving. I have had it pretty easy and she has made it through the first few years of high school just needed an iPod to stay in touch with her friends. Since she will be driving I have been wanting her to have more than just an iPod. Since she is a beginning driver, I want her to have a cell phone just in case of any type of emergency. Right now Walmart has the Alcatel One Touch Evolve Smartphone on a very GREAT rollback price of only $29.88. This phone is regularly priced at $79.88. This phone goes with the Walmart Family Mobiles that offers lowest priced UNLIMITED plans.
I don’t know about you but a smartphone for under $50 is pretty cheap. This one is even cheaper and under $30.
This phone is perfect for my daughter. It isn’t expensive so if she loses or breaks it, I am not going to be that upset. For those of you that have children that you want to buy a smartphone for, this is a great first smartphone for teens. As a blogger, I absolutely NEED a high quality smart phone. The only problem is how much most providers want me to pay for using said smart phone. I’m headed to Wal-Mart to check out their plans.
