I’m participating in the 2014 Believe in Heroes® blogger campaign and received compensation as part of the program.
I am very thankful for those who support and who have supported our country. I am glad that there are many different programs and organizations out there that help our veterans who have risked their lives to help protect ours.
The Wounded Warriors Project (WWP) is a non-profit organization who has a mission to honor and empower Wounder Warriors. Here are some important services that the WWP provides to those that have been injured protecting our country:
- To raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
- To help injured service members aid and assist each other.
- To provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.
In 2010 Believe in Heroes was established to bring grocery retailers, trusted brands and shoppers together to help raise funds for WWP. This campaign has generated $16 million for WWP to date and has helped enable the expansion of its critical veteran programs that now directly serve more than 40,000 injured service members.

Wounded Warrior is so important. Our service men and women sacrifice so much for us and our country. They deserve to be remembered, and they deserve our help.

I had heard the name “Wounded Warrior Project” but never really knew what it was about. Thank you for spreading awareness so that I can participate.

I am definitely grabbing those coupons. The Wounded Warrior Project helped provide a home for a soldier that graduated from our local high school that lost his legs on active duty in Iraq. Great program for people who deserve so much!
