I am excited to announce that next week I will be taking a trip down to San Francisco for a once in a life opportunity. This mom is headed to not only Pixar for the second time but to also take a trip to Skywalker Ranch with 24 fellow bloggers courtesy of Disney.
On Monday I will be visiting Pixar Animation Studios to attend a reception for an Inside Out presentation with Director Pete Docter and Producer Jonas Rivera. While we are there we will also be screening the new short film LAVA! After the screening our group will be doing a Q&A with Director James Ford Murphy and Producer Andrea Warren.

On Tuesday is yet another fun day and something I am sure to remember forever. I will be taking a trip with my fellow bloggers to Skywalker Ranch for the Press Day for STRANGE MAGIC. For those that aren’t familiar with Skywalker Ranch, it is a 4,000 acre working ranch that houses the headquarters for Lucasfilm and Skywalker Sound.
At Skywalker Ranch we will be screening Strange Magic, receive a tour of the grounds, interview Director and 7 time Academy Award® winner Gary Rydstrom and also interview Elijah Kelley who voices Sunny in the film and also has starred in “Hairspray”, “Red Tails”, “The Butler” and more.

Let’s just say that I am really excited for next week. I am not only looking forward to seeing some of my favorite bloggers, I am looking forward to being inside the buildings of Pixar Animation Studios again! I will also have to admit that I am looking forward to seeing Skywalker Ranch in person and being able to brag and say that I have been in the same building where George Lucas has been and where some of the movie magic is made.

My famiy and I loved Epic and this looks like a great movie with a similair theme. No doubt we’ll like this one too!
I have to admit I’m such a sucker for Pixar films!!! I’m always excited about them right after seeing the trailers, but I am not quite as excited about Inside Out. It’ll be interesting to see what they did with it because it’s a great concept! I’m looking forward to seeing it in theaters with my family. Thanks for sharing, and congrats! Enjoy your trip!
