When it comes to my family and meals during the week the one meal that we try to eat together on a daily basis is dinner. Mornings are hectic and the kids usually grab something quick for breakfast and then eat lunch at school. Once 6pm rolls around everyone is usually home and it is time to sit down at the table for a family dinner. That is mom and dad’s time to talk to the kids and see what happened during their day.
One thing my family enjoys are foods that have FLAVOR and maybe even a little SPICY. My daughters LOVE carne asada fries so I decided to make some spicy Carne Asada fries using the new BOLD AND CRISPY Spicy Sriracha Fries from Ore-Ida.
For those of you with children, especially TEENS, dinner time can be a great time to get BOLD and connect with your kids. Since it wouldn’t be polite to get up and walk away, eating together as a family gives parents the perfect time to create bold and lively conversations at the dinner table.

Spicy Carne Asada Fries With Ore-Ida
Ingredients
- 1 pounds carne asada steak flank steak
- 1-2 cups shredded cheese.
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 lime - squeeze
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions

Lay the flank steak in a large baking dish.

In a bowl add the all the remaining ingredients except the cheese and stir well. Pour marinade over steak in dish and turn over to coat steak on both sides. Cover and marinate at least 1 hour.

Cook Ore-Ida Bold & Crispy Spicy Sriracha Fries according to directions on the package

Cut or break steak into small pieces and add to skillet. Cook over medium heat until meal is cooked thoroughly.

Grab a plate, add some of the Spicy Sriracha Fries, add some of the cooked carne asada and top with shredded cheese.
