I love to cook but I don’t cook with seafood all that often. I like seafood but the rest of my family doesn’t so I dont’ have too much experience cooking any types of meals with it besides tuna sandwiches and fish sticks. Luckily companies like Chicken Of The Sea have seafood options like their NEW Chicken Of The Sea Tilapia Select Fillets that makes creating a quick lunch, snack or dinner with seafood a snap.
The Chicken Of The Sea Tilapia Select Fillets are single-serve, sustainably caught tilapia that comes available in 3-oz pouches. These pouches contain America’s most popular fish that comes seasoned in the following flavors:
- Teriyaki Sesame Sauce
- Marinara Sauce
- Santé Fe Sauce
- Yellow Curry Sauce
Since I am a big fan of wraps I thought I would get creative and make some wraps using the Chicken Of The Sea Tilapia Fillets with the Sante Fé Sauce. I didn’t use the tilapia fillets straight out of the package in my wraps, I put them in a skillet and cooked them over medium high for about 5 minutes, breaking the fillets into smaller pieces.
Instead of using lettuce like I normally use in my wraps, I used some sticky white rice. I added 1/2 cup of rice into the skillet with the tilapia and cooked it for an additional minute and removed it from the heat.
Next I added the rice and tilapia mixture onto a small tortilla, added a handful of black beans and added a few slices of freshly sliced avocado. Then wrapped the tortilla up and created two small wraps that was perfect for lunch.
This is a great way to make a quick little meal or snack for one or two that includes some seafood, rice, beans and avocado. NO worrying about cooking the tilapia correctly as it is already pre-cooked.

Santé Fe Tilapia Wraps Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 small tortillas
- 1 package of Chicken Of The Sea Tilapia Select Fillets with Santa Fe sauce
- 1/2 cup white rice
- 1/4 cup black beans
- 1 avocado sliced
Instructions

In a skillet add the Chicken Of the Sea Tilapia Select Fillets and cook over medium high heat for 5 minutes. With spatula flip fillets over and break into smaller pieces.

Add 1/2 cup of white rice and cook on low for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.

On a tortilla add 1/3 of tilapia and rice mixture. Add 1/2 of beans and 3 slices of avocado. Fold bottom of tortilla up and then fold sides over to create a wrap. Do same thing with remaining tortillas.

Serve immediately. Makes 2 small wraps.
