Since I am a blogger I take more pictures than you can imagine, especially when it comes to creating new recipes. I know I have taken over a million pictures in my lifetime. With taking images comes editing and I am excited about the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan has the power of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, the Adobe Creative Cloud and other helpful apps combined in one.
I have an older copy of Adobe Photoshop that I have used for the last few years to edit my images that I use on my blog posts and photos that I use on social media. I have used Lightroom in the past but only when I was editing photos in a photography class I took a couple years ago in college. What I like about this plan is the ability to start editing a photo on one device and then finish it on another. For example I can start editing a photo on my desktop, then go in my room and finish editing it on my iPad using the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for iPad app.
I have now been using Lightroom with my plan to edit some of photos instead of using my old program. For fun I wanted to show you what I did that was a little magical. Since I consider myself somewhat of a photographer I take most of my images on my DSLR in raw so that I have more choices when editing them. Taking the photos in this format takes more space but worth it in the long run if you have photos you really want. I was going through my daughter’s senior photos that I took earlier this year when I came upon a really DARK photo. You can tell it is my daughter but it is so dark that it is a photo that most would normally delete.
Here is the before Lightroom picture.
With Lightroom and some adjustments the picture came out beautiful which made me smile. Which is a reminder to never delete photos you think you might want to restore.
Here is the after Lightroom picture.
If you have wanted to experiment with Photoshop and Lightroom with your photos the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan is an affordable way to go. There are also features in this plan like the “Dehaze” editing option that is remarkable and is only available with the Adobe Creative Cloud membership. This plan lets you retouch and manipulate images in just about any way you can imagine.
Right now you can buy a 1 year membership for the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan for only $119.99 which comes out to less than $10 per month!
