Today the TV was on and an emergency broadcast came on. Now normally it is just a test. This time it was NOT a test. The TV was telling me there was a tornado warning for Sacramento County. Oh crap, the world is coming to an end. I have been telling myself that I am not going to worry about the world ending until weird weather starts happening near me. Today was just a little scary. Then later a tornado hit in Yuba County which is only 45 minutes away. I don’t think it did any damage but how much closer can it really get.
I went outside and snapped some shots. The local TV station was asking for weather photos on Facebook and I thought I would participate. I even uploaded two to their website as they said they would be showing them on the news tonight. I really had no desire to watch the news, I didn’t need to worry myself before I go to bed tonight.

Was there an actual tornado?
I grew up in Butte County. I seem to remember getting tornado warnings, but never any actual storms.
I remember trying to use a ‘tornado’ warning as an excuse to get out of an exam when I was at CSU Chico…
