One thing you can always find in my refrigerator is yogurt. Sometimes yogurt can make for the perfect breakfast on mornings when I want to eat something in a hurry or I don’t want to cook. Yogurt can also come in handy at my house as an easy-to-grab snack for the kids (and me)!
I am not getting any younger and I am starting to try to eat more products that are considered healthy and not junk food. Knowing that chia seeds are known to many as a superfood I couldn’t wait to try some of the yogurt from The Greek Gods that include chia seeds.
The Greek Gods makes Greek Yogurt, Nonfat Greek Yogurt, Kefir and even their Lebni Sour Cream. We received the Nonfat Greek Yogurts in peach, blackberry, strawberry and vanilla to try and I think that the Strawberry and Blueberry flavors are my favorites.
The Greek Gods Nonfat Yogurt With Chia Seeds
I am a fan of Greek yogurt because I like the thick creamy texture along with a strong and tangy flavor. When it comes to eating Greek yogurt I usually go with something fruity. I think that the addition of Chia seeds which are very high in Omega-3 fatty acids gives the yogurt some added health benefits and some added texture.
I have only tried The Greek Gods yogurt as it comes in the cup but did you know that yogurt is something I like to use in recipes? I like to use yogurt as a baking substitute when making baked goods!
