I have four children and my dreams are for them all graduate high school, go off to college and be successful in the career that they have a passion for. My oldest daughter graduated high school last year and is attending our community college here.
My second oldest daughter is a junior in high school with big dreams. She is a straight A student with goals to go off to prestigious college and earn a degree that she can use to make a great life for herself.
Right now my daughter is in the AVID, a college readiness program that helps students develop and the learn the skills they need to be successful in college. The AVID program also takes field trips. My daughter has visited some of the colleges here in California like San Francisco State University that she will be applying for that are not cheap.
