Photography is something I have a passion for. I have been taking pictures since I was a child and have used a variety of cameras and lenses over the years. I was really excited when I recently received Tamrac Hoodoo 20 Camera Backpack to review.
When traveling I am always worried about taking my DSLR, especially when flying. I have been using the camera bag that came with my camera which I would I would never want to use as a carryon. The Tamrac Hoodoo 20 photo daypack is now my solution!
Hoodoos are tall thin spires of rock that are common in one of our favorite places to hike, explore and photograph, Bryce Canyon National Park.
Tamrac Hoodoo 20 Camera Backpack Review
The Hoodoo 20 is actually three packs in one! It can be used as a fully protective camera backpack, a stand alone camera bag or even a stylish day pack. My bag is the orange (Pumpkin) color but it is also available in blue (Ocean) and green (Kiwi) also.
The top portion of the Hoodoo is where you can carry your personal items.
You can access the camera module with your camera lenses on the top of the bag or the front. If you have personal items on top, having access to the module on the front is convenient.
Inside you will find the fully protective camera module that can be used to carry your compact DSLRs and mirror-less camera systems with extra lenses.
What is great is the dividers have velcro so that you can customize the spaces for your own camera gear.
I love that the Tamrac Hoodoo 20 camera backpack is lightweight and also water resistant. I don’t do plan on taking a hike in the rain yet but if I have the urge I know my camera will be protected. If you have someone on your shopping list that loves photography and loves to travel with their camera this would make the perfect gift for the holidays!
