Since I have a passion for cooking and getting crafty in the kitchen this time of the year is my favorite! I love making cute snacks and treats to put those smiles on my kids faces. Since we are now in the middle of November I have now come up with some cute holiday snacks and appetizer ideas for kids using the Sandwich Bros flatbread pocket sandwiches. These sandwiches are really really tasty and are perfect for a snack or a light meal!
I turned two of the Sandwich Bros Angus Cheeseburgers and a few other things from my kitchen into an edible reindeer! My kids really love when I make animals or characters with their food and I will admit that I do have fun creating them. This is a perfect snack for kids for the holidays and also something you can create on plates for everyone to grab at your next holiday party.
One thing I enjoy making is Bento box style snacks and meals for my kids. I thought I would turn a couple of these flatbread sandwiches into a cute Santa they could eat! I used the Sandwich Bros sandwich for the head. I then used red bell pepper for his hat and nose, Swiss cheese for his eyes and beard, nori for the eyes and mouth and a big marshmallow for the top of Santa’s hat.
With Bento boxes you can get really creative. Use your holiday cookie cutters to cut fruit and/or vegetables to add to your box. I used my cookie cutters to make tree shaped cheese but you could also use them to cut melon into some holiday shapes too!
These are just a couple ways that you can get creative during the holidays for your kids with the Sandwich Bros products. Another appetizer idea would be to slice these sandwiches in half and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. I love that these sandwiches are quick and easy to make and also packed with protein. My kids can come home from school and can have a tasty snack that is ready in less than 1 minute. These are really going to come in handy this winter break when they are home from school and looking for something quick to eat.
