What To Expect To See In Baby Daddy Season 6 + Interview & Baby Shower Themed Lunch With Cast #BabyDaddy

This week was full of fun events and one of my favorite was getting to meet some of the cast of Baby Daddy. Not only did our group get to screen the first episode for season six, we had the opportunity to interview three cast members and also have lunch with them that was baby shower themed that was a ton of fun!

Baby Daddy Season 6 Episode One

Our time at the studio started with screening the first episode of Baby Daddy Season 6 that premieres Monday, March 13 at 8:30-9:00pm EST on Freeform! If you have never seen this show you have a couple days to catch up! This show recently won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Comedy for 2017 because the show is that good! The producers have put together a cast for this show that really make a great team.

The newly pregnant couple Danny and Riley search for the perfect doctor for their baby while Ben continues his quest to find his mysterious dream girl.

I will be honest and say that up until last month I had not heard of this show. I asked her if she had seen the show and she tells me that she has watched every episode. I was then thinking, “where was I”. We like a lot of the same shows so I turned on the first episode and was hooked. Although I tried watching all of the episodes I could before my trip to Los Angeles this last week, I still have many more to enjoy! This is my new show I am binge watching this weekend and hoping to get caught up before the new season starts on Monday!

While I would have loved to meet Melissa Peterman that plays Bonnie (Ben & Derek’s mom) because I just LOVED her role on Reba, I had a blast spending time behind the scenes of Baby Daddy with Chelsea Kane (Riley), Derek Wheeler (Danny) and Tahj Mowry (Tucker). These three are just AWESOME and a pleasure to be a round!

**Q&A Style Interview With The Baby Daddy Cast**

After we screened the season six premiere episode we had to know more! Chelsea Kane, Derek Theler and Tahj Mowry came into the theater room at the studio where they sat in director chairs ready for our questions.

What can we expect besides pregnancy in season 6?

Chelsea Kane: Yeah, that was a big one for me. I mean it was so fun to be in the belly the whole time but I think it’s a big season for us. For anyone that’s been sticking with us these last one hundred episodes. I mean to find, I think a lot of storylines that were there from, you know, the pilot, are really wrapping up this season in such a beautiful way. So, I think the fans will enjoy it checking it out.

Tahj Mowry: I think we kind of dive a little bit deeper into each character. For Tucker, specifically, we find out a little bit more about him and his in a different space mentally than he normally is. He’s not his upbeat self.

Derek Theler: Danny, I mean, he’s trying to handle his pregnant girlfriend, which is challenge enough for most people especially Danny. Then Ben is kind of searching still for his love that he happened to cross at the end of the last season.

Chelsea Kane: Brad goes to jail and I’m defending him. So, that’s also a big story line for Riley this year, is, not only is she hormonal and trying to hide her pregnancy, which I also think is, you know, a hot button issue. She is worried that once her boss finds out that she is pregnant that she’s just gonna look like one giant case of maternity leave. So, she’s trying to hide her pregnancy and on top of that defend Mrs. Wheeler’s husband in court. So, she’s kind of an emotional train wreck for most of the season.

During this interview we also learned that “Emma”, the baby who is now a toddler is actually now performed by twins! This wouldn’t be the first time that Tahj Mowry has worked with twins. We also learned that sometimes the writers will add things into their scripts that have actually happened in their real lives! I also learned there they have reached 100 episodes which means I better get to watching Baby Daddy this weekend!

Baby Shower Themed Lunch With The Baby Daddy Cast

In celebration of Riley being pregnant on the show we had a baby shower themed lunch after the interview with these three which a total blast! I might have to say it was one of my FAVORITE parts of my trip this last week.

Lunch started with some food and getting to chat with Tahj Mowry! He is funny on the show but even funnier in person. I mentioned to him that my daughter was a little jealous because she has seen every episode so we made sure to take a couple pictures to send to her to put a smile on her face.

Our baby shower lunch was complete with not only some good but some fun games too! After we were done eating we played a fun game of baby shower charades where we were put into groups and Tahj Mowry was our groups leader.
