I LOVE when companies go above and beyond for children. Since 2013, Extended Stay America has donated over 85,000 FREE or deeply discounted rooms to the American Cancer Society® for patients that are receiving treatment away from their home. They have also partnered with the American Cancer Society to help give hope to children that are battling cancer with their Give Hope initiative and the launch of Hope, the teddy bear.
Each year, over 10,000 children under the age of 15 are diagnosed with cancer. It’s a diagnosis that can turn a family’s life upside down. In an effort to bring awareness to the issue, Extended Stay America is introducing Hope the teddy bear. Hope is a cuddly symbol of kindness and comfort. Extended Stay America – through the support of their guests – is committing to provide 10,000 Hope bears to children’s hospitals throughout America with the simple goal of bringing a smile to the face of a child battling cancer.
Purchase a Hope Bear
If you want to help put a smile on a child’s face you can purchase a Hope bear for only $10 that will be delivered to a child that is battling cancer. Extended Stay America will provide the Hope bears to children’s hospitals nationwide starting in September 2017.
If you would like to purchase a Hope bear for yourself or have one sent to a family or friend you can purchase one of these cute bears for only $19.99. For each Hope bear that is purchased, Extended Stay America will DONATE $5 to the American Cancer Society which will be used towards pediatric cancer research.
