When you are married that doesn’t mean that you have to stop dating. Dating is something that keeps on going the whole time you are in a relationship if you want to keep your relationship full of excitement. Once you are married you now have a guaranteed date that you know will show up! Below are some fun date night ideas for married couples to keep the relationship making more fun and exciting memories that you can add to your memory bank that you will cherish.
Below are some date night ideas that I think would be FUN and will get you outdoors! While you can still have a date night in the comfort of your own home, there are so many possibilities if you venture outside and do something new!
Date Night Idea #1 – Outdoor Movie & Lunch/Dinner
If you both like watching movies an outdoor movie date might just be perfect. You can pack up a meal for two and your laptop or tablet and head to the park, beach or even your own backyard if you don’t want to leave home. Don’t forget to bring a blanket to sit on and make sure to dress for the weather so your date doesn’t get ended before the movie is over. If you choose to make a movie date at home don’t forget to add some If you choose to have a date night at home don’t forget the flowers to set the mood. Date Night Idea #2 – Be Kids & Go To An Amusement Park
Being able to let loose and have fun like a kid can be plenty of fun! Make a day for just the two of you to have a fun day of rides and entertainment at an amusement park! Riding roller coasters is something that not only kids have fun riding and the rides where you get wet are fun on hot days! If you don’t have an amusement park in driving distance a trip to your local zoo might be just as fun!

If you are both of for a little day of adventure go geocaching! Did you know that there are millions of geocaches that are hidden around the world and there are probably some near you that are waiting to be found? Looking for a geocache is like going on a treasure hunt but instead of using an old map with an x on it you are going to use a GPS receiver and a set of coordinates to find the hidden cache of goodies.

For those couples that enjoy drinking beer a brewery tour is a must do date idea if you have a brewery in your area! Not only will you maybe be able to learn about how beer is made and maybe some beer history that you may find interesting, you are probably going to be trying some good tasting beer too! Remember to dress casual and skip the heels for this kind of date.
Date Night Idea #5 – Eat A Five Course Dinner At Different Restaurants
Make dinner one night a little more exciting than usual by going to more than one place to enjoy your various courses for your meal. Make your 5 course meal at 2+ places to give yourself a variety to choose from. For instance you can enjoy an appetizer at one spot, eat dinner at another and then take a drive to another restaurant to enjoy dessert! Instead of a pub crawl make your date a dinner date night crawl.
Date Night Idea #6 – Find A Rooftop Pool & Go Swimming
If you would love a date to remember find a place that has rooftop pool and take a swim that you are sure to remember for a lifetime! These types of rooftop pools are popping up all over the place and one just might be in driving distance from where you live especially if you live in large metropolitan areas like Chicago, Atlanta, etc. If you live in Florida there are many rooftop pool parties that you can buy tickets for that can provide you with a few hours of fun entertainment for the night.
These are just six fun date night ideas for married couples that will get you outdoors and maybe even burning some extra calories. You can also choose to have your date nights at home where you might have a little more privacy. There are plenty of cheap date night ideas at home that might be just as fun as the ideas I listed above! Research has been shown that dating your spouse regularly is proven to strengthen your marriage.
