I am a mom that takes way too many pictures. I honestly need to go through my drive that I keep all my pictures and delete some of the duplicates and blurry pictures that I will never use. Pictures are memories and I like to take pictures as often as possible.
I have been using something really cool that I downloaded for FREE that helps me organize my photos and a whole lot more. This past week I have been playing around with the Fotobounce program. This is a program that has been designed to help you manage your digital photos albums. Not only does this program help you manage your photos, you also have the ability to share your personal photos with a private network of your friends and family. For those of you that want to share your photos, but don’t want the whole world to see them online, this is a great solution. The Fotobounce program offers a secure and private network for you to share only with your family and friends, also known as “Bouncers”.
This is just not your average photo management program. The Fotobounce program does some pretty cool stuff that makes it unique to me. Once you download the program and have it running on your computer, you can link your Facebook, Twitter and Flickr accounts so that you have access to photos on those sites. Look at my screen shot above. You will see that you have your menu choices on the left and your picture previews on the right side. Since I like to post pictures to my Facebook profile all the time, the Fotobounce program makes it easy for me to view my pictures within the program and then select which pictures I want to upload to Facebook, Twitter or Flickr. So far, I have tested out posting to Facebook and it worked like a charm. If you are on Facebook, be sure to stop by Fotobounce’s Facebook Fan Page and give them a “Like”.
Another neat feature of the Fotobounce program is the face recognition technology! This program has the ability to automatically detect faces when photos are found or imported into the program. As the faces are detected by the Fotobounce program, they are tagged by the user and this “trains” Fotobounce to learn who people are and helps automate the tagging process. Don’t worry, the face recognition data that it stores remains local to your computer only. I only mentioned just some of the features of this program as I am just learning how to use it.

Ooh, how cool! My friends have been complaining that I don’t upload enough photos to FB. I hate it because it’s such a pain. Sounds like this could make it much easier.
