I LOVE me some tacos but there are days when I would rather have some taquitos that I can eat with my guacamole! You want to know something I hate to admit? I have never made my own taquitos but they are one of my FAVORITE finger foods.
I will admit that I buy frozen taquitos because there are times when I want to enjoy a snack or meal with my family and not spend all the time in the kitchen preparing it. José Olé is the PERFECT solution to keep families happy with a snack that is filling and tastes great!
What makes the José Olé taquitos a perfect option for my family is that they are available in a variety of options that are ready to eat in UNDER 15 minutes. These yummy taquitos are available in both corn and flour varieties that include beef, chicken and cheese.
There are the days when I prefer corn taquitos but then there are the days when I want the flour ones instead. I like both (and so do my kids) so I like to keep a variety in my freezer since my kids love to eat these as a quick snack after school.
Not only are the José Olé Taquitos great to keep handy in the freezer for snacks or meals, they can make a quick appetizer for party trays too! They have bold flavor, they are crispy and meaty and they are made with quality ingredients. While the taquitos are baking in the oven (or microwave) you can grab an avocado or two to make a quick dip for your guests.
If I want to make my taquitos a meal instead of just a snack I like to make my Chunky Mango Guacamole to dip them in. This is one of my ways to add a little fruit to my meal!
This guacamole is healthy, EASY to make and goes great with the José Olé Taquitos! You can print my Chunky Mango Guacamole recipe below:
