Yesterday I had the awesome opportunity to host a pirate party at my house. I also had a total of 9 kids in my house, so it was quite the Pirate Party! I decorated the living room with pirate flags and streamers. On a table I put out some pirate jewelry, pirate hats, bandanas and even temporary pirate tattoos to get the party started. All of the kids had fun dressing up, even the older pirates. I then had the pirates eat some pizza while the Jake and the Never land Pirates DVD started. These pirates LOVED the pizza!
After the pirates stuffed their bellies with pizza and pirate punch, they moved over to the couches where they had a better view of Jake and the Never Land Pirates – Yo Ho, Mateys Away! DVD that was playing on the big screen.

Set sail for adventure just off the shores of Never Land. Join Jake, Izza and Cubby, parrot pal Skully and their trusty ship, Bucky as they go from muddy swamps to enchanted jungles, solving pirate problems and hunting for lost treasures. But watch out for Captain Hook! With the help of faithful Mr. Smee, Hook is always trying to snatch the kids’ teasure, and its going to take teamwork, smarts and even pixie dust to outwit him.
This DVD has 7 action-packed episodes that are filled with treasures, adventure and fun pirate rock music.
I LOVE that this was a hit for all the pirates not just the little mates!
I surprised my pirate guests with a pirate candy platter that they went crazy over. These pirates seemed to really enjoy the pirate candy I found to put in the dish. What kind of pizza and movie party would it be without candy!
I had to let the pirate party go out with a bang with ending the party with some PIRATE CAKE! I was able to take a simple chocolate cake, some pirate decorations and pirate candy to create a cute cake that the kids thought was super cool! Check it out below, it was YUMMY!

This was a great Party. My kids had a swoshbucklin good time… The movie was enjoyed by all especially my five yrear old pirate Ryan. Stefani did a great job decorating and the pirate grub was perfect for this gathering thank goodness no one had to walk the plank. The cake was very easy to decorate and the pirate candy was a big success. Thanks for having my gang of pirates over for the party. Jake and the Neverland Pirates has been playing in my house since Sunday. Thanks again Stefani……
