Tonight I was craving Mexican food. I was thinking originally of making soft tacos, but thought I would get a little more creative. Tonight I made a simple and easy beef taco bake that everyone enjoyed. Take a peek at my recipe below.

Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 TBS chili powder
- 1 TSP garlic salt
- 1 16oz jar salsa
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6-8 flour tortillas – cut in medium to big pieces
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, chili powder and garlic salt. Brown meat and then drain fat.
- Add salsa, 1/2 cup cheese, milk, and tortillas. Heat for 3 minutes over medium heat.
- Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and top with remaining cheese.
- Enjoy!
I’m a huge fan of Mexican, I could eat tacos all the time. Unfortunately, my husband is so-so about them. Maybe trying I could talk him into trying this recipe, it’s something new and looks delicious.
