Last year I had some crazy motivation and decided to grow my own garden. I went to Home Depot and bought seeds, dirt and containers to grow them in. I started with planting the seeds, then transplanting them to bigger pots, to eventually planting them in my back yard so they could grow nice and big. Once the seeds started sprouting and I seen results from mefforts, the excitement really began.
When I planted my veggies last year, I was frugal and didn’t buy the best dirt that I could buy. I bought some inexpensive dirt and went on my way. After transplanting, I kept thinking that the next time I would attempt to grow my own garden, I would look for better soil. Maybe even organic soil.
I have been looking at different brands online and Whitney Farms has organic plant food that can help improve your garden compared to the regular plant food. They have a full line of 100% natural plant foods with NO additives, just ingredients straight from our Earth. I am thinking I wnat to try organic soil and use organic plant food the next time I plant a vegetable garden.

I just cleaned out my raised beds last week! We use a mixture of aged horse manure, soil and vermiculite in our raised beds. This year I’m adding some Miracle Grow soil to them since I tried it in a pot and it has made my plants grow like crazy!
