I went to lunch earlier today with a friend. Since it was her treat, she wanted to take me to Buffalo Wild Wings and I happily agreed. Now I had never heard of this place before it opened near my house, but from I hear, it is a pretty popular place. I had actually been wanting to visit this place, but the hubby is not too fond if chicken wings. So a girls lunch date was in order today!
When we walked up towards the door, we could hear the sounds of football games and I knew this was definitely a “sport style” restaurant. I don’t want to say sports bar, because it is in fact a restaurant that does sell alcoholic beverages. Once we walked, the place was CROWDED. I guess this would be due to the fact that it is Sunday and their are football games on. We were immediately greeted and asked if we wanted to sit outside. Since it wasn’t too hot, we agreed.
Once outside, we were greeted with 11 different flat screen televisions playing football. They also had those cool water misters coming from the roof area just in case we got hot. We were seated and helped within just a couple minutes. I think the customer service was pretty awesome. We were given drinks, our food and the waitress was pretty good at making sure we had refills. I actually got a refill before I could even ask for one. What I really was impressed with was the management. My friend really didn’t care for the salad she ordered. The waitress asked her if she needed more ranch and she mentioned she really didn’t want the salad. Then just a couple minutes later the manager came up to us asking my friend if she would like anything else and the salad would surely be removed from the ticket. We didn’t ask for any discounts and we appreciate that they had offered this by just being NICE.
So what did I think of the wings? I thought they were really GOOD, but HOT. We got the medium wings and I definitely will not order the hot ones. I think the medium is just perfect, as long as I can dip them in ranch. I also got one of the Buffalo Chicken Wraps which is really good too!
If you like football, this may just be the spot for you! Make sure you wear your jersey though, because if you don’t, you might feel left out. I seen a TON of people representing their favorite teams today.

I’ve been a few times and like it ok. Not my favorite place by no means, but the husband RAVES about it. Big Screen TVs, Sports, and Wings. A Manly Mans dream.

Kas, yes I would have to say it is more the “guy” kind of place. I never seen so many guys in jerseys watching a football game. I liked the wings the most!

I love Buffalo Wild Wings … but oddly, not for the wings. I don’t really care for wings, all that work to get a little bit of meat off a wing just isn’t my style. I go there for the breaded chicken strips and buffalo chips, and the sweet bbbq mmmmmm so good. I buy a bottle of it every time we go in.

we love BW3! Especially for the sports, since I hate wings lol. But we, and a lot of our friends, go there to watch sports.

I can’t believe this is the 1st time you have been to BWW. LOL. On Tuesday they do 40 cent wings and on Thursday they do 60 cent boneless wings. The BWW near us does 1/2 price apps after 9pm Mon-Fri. We usually go only on Tues and Thurs for the discount but we LOVE going. I love that they have so many different sauces to choose from. Hope you plan on going back.
Stefani says
Cat, I had the boneless wings. They are much better that way! I want to try the breaded chicken strips next.
Stefani says
Rob, I probably would have been to one before now if I would have known they existed, lol. The one that I went to has only been open a couple weeks. I will definitely be going back!
