When I was in elementary school, I looked forward to the holidays. One of those holidays happened to be Halloween. It was always fun to see what everyone else was going to dress up as. Of course there was the candy too that the teachers always used to give out.
Check out the picture of me back in 4th or 5th grade with my best friend. We looked cool didn’t we?
Well with the crime the way it is today, my kids are not allowed to dress up today which makes me a little sad. It would have been fun to get up this morning and dress up Hannah as something cute. My kids do dress up each year though. If I was a child, I would LOVE all of these awesome Marvel costumes that you can find online to buy to dress up as your favorite superhero.
So is this just a policy for my kids, or are your kids not getting to dress up today either? What are your thoughts?

My kids could dress up when they were in school. I didn’t realize kids couldn’t do that anymore. Pretty sad!

That’s sad they can’t dress up. Like you, I loved dressing up for school on Halloween.

I loved dressing up myself. And I love that my kids still can. I went to their halloween parade today.

I don’t remember if I dressed up for school or not, but I do remember always having a Halloween Party, and it was called Halloween, not Harvest. My kids are not allowed to wear costumes to school, it’s kind of a bummer.

LOL! I never dressed up but some schools allow it, most elementary and others don’t.

In our elementary school the kids are allowed to dress up as a character in a book.
