Heart Crayon Valentines – If you don’t want to send your kids to school with candy, here is a fun idea involving crayons.
Family Night Love Tree Valentine Craft – Here is a super CUTE craft that I want to make with my kids. You use their hands for the trees and then make cute heart shaped leaves.
DIY Recycled Seed Paper Heart Valentines – I LOVE this idea for homemade Valentines. With this neat craft you make heart shaped Valentines that include paper, food coloring, seeds and a heart shaped cookie cutter. You could of course make other shops. How creative is this Valentine that when planted, something will grow!
DIY Cupid’s Arrow Non Candy Valentine – Now here is a CUTE and EASY craft to make with the kids. This is pretty affordable too. You just need some construction paper, pencils, scissors and some tape.
Bee Valentine’s Mailbox – I remember making cute bags as a child for my Valentine’s Day cards. I never made a mailbox but this one has me wanting to make one just for fun. You can make your own Bee Valentine’s Day mailbox and matching cards to go with it. How cool is this?

I have made the crayons too but with a muffin tin so they were just circles. I want to make them again but fun shaped!
This is the first year I have noticed all the craft blogs. Starting with Halloween, every month has had a holiday to “create” for! I am enjoying your V-Day treats, I cannot believe how fast time is going!

I think it would be fun to be born on Valentine’s Day. If it was my birthday I would wear lots of red and pink!
When I was a kid, I would get WAY into Valentines crafts. Now, as an adult, I always have a show at this time, and we dont’ ever celebrate! Too much work.
I used to love Valentines crafts when I was a kid too. I try to get kinda crafty with the kids valentines each year, but it usually consists of valentines that I bought from the store plus something else.

great ideas. i have 3 kids who need to bring valentine’s in for school friends.
I have two that will be bringing Valentines. I then have two teens that are going to probably want to bring something to school for their friends.
Lots of neat ideas. I wish that my kids were little again to make these.
I am hoping that since I have four kids, I will get to make fun crafts with my future grandchildren. Hopefully that won’t be for a long time but I look forward to doing fun stuff.

The love tree craft is such a great idea. This would be an easy one to do with the three year old.
We made the crayon hearts one year. They turned out cute, but it was a bit of a pain to have to take the wrappers off the crayons to break them.
The crayon hearts are PERFECT for my toddler’s friends. I already have a ton of broken crayons, so I may have to try that little project in the next couple of weeks.

These are adorable ideas! I love that some of them can be sent to school or social gatherings without candy. So many children have food allergies these days that it can be difficult to find something for everyone to enjoy. I can’t wait to get started on some of these crafts with my daughter!
