Turbo Tax Review – File Your Taxes Online For FREE

For quite a few years I filed my own taxes. Before I owned my home and had my own business, filing taxes was super simple. Just plug in some numbers and I was done and my taxes were sent for filing. Having a business and owning a home changes makes taxes a little more difficult. Once things got complicated I went to one of the popular tax companies that claim to help to get the best refund for you. NOT. From my experience, I could have done a better job filing my taxes myself than the people who are supposed to be tax specialists that I paid too much hard earned money for preparing my return.

Last year I decided to give the Turbo Tax Deluxe online version a go. Since I had watched the supposed “tax specialists” prepare my taxes over a computer the previous years, I knew what information was going to be needed. I plugged in my numbers and filed my tax return. Last year I was so happy to have tried Turbo Tax. Not only did I save time, I saved myself money on paying someone to do a job that I could do better and I got a BIGGER return. I only wish I had tried Turbo Tax before.

This year, I knew that the online version of Turbo Tax was going to be my option. I was so excited to login and the system have all my contact information as well as other important information that I didn’t need to re-type into the system. It saved me time on having to go through my filing cabinet to look for the information that it had stored/saved for me. Again, filing my taxes this year was a BREEZE. It will take you step through step through each section to make sure you get your maximum refund. I was done preparing my taxes in no time and was able to submit it online.
