Last night I picked up Hailey from the airport. She is now here for summer vacation and her siblings were so excited to see her. When we pulled up in the driveway, I honked and my son came running out saying “Hailey I Miss You”, it was so cute.
I have this little tradition that I do since Hailey moved to Texas in 2009. I make her two cakes for each of her visits home to Cali. I have a homemade cake ready for her when she gets home. We all celebrate her being home by eating cake! Then I make a “We Will Miss You Hailey” cake the day before she leaves.
So yesterday I went to Walmart and bought some Wilton cake decorating tips. I then made Hailey’s favorite cake, Red Velvet. I had some fun decorating the cake with the tips as you can see from the picture above.
By the way, the cake was YUMMY!
