As a child, I LOVED the Muppets. I mean absolutely LOVED watching them. I think out of all of the Muppets characters, Kermit has always been my favorite even though they are all cute!
So there is a new Muppets movie coming out this year. I am super excited that they are making a comeback and can’t wait to take my children to watch it when it comes out!

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate.

I can’t wait. I loved the Muppets as a kid. Kermit was probably my favorite. Well, him and Gonzo. 🙂 I hope that my kids will love it as much as I did.

I can’t wait for this movie to come out, I love the Muppets and always got to see them when we head over to Hollywood studios at Disney World.
My favorite muppet has always been Animal and I love him in the video where they sing Bohemium Rhapsody – too cool.

I can’t wait!!! The local theater is showing Muppets take Manhatan during the week in a couple weeks, and I am taking K to prep her for the new movie 🙂
Way cool! I too loved the Muppets as a child and can’t wait until Sweet T can appreciate them. Now I’m going to go to bed with the Muppet Babies theme in my head. 😉

I’ve always loved kermit. We love muppets movies in our house. The Muppets Christmas Carol is one of our holiday must sees!
