If you are like me, I like to find places to go with the kids during summer vacation from school. Summer break is my time to relax, enjoy not taking the kids back and forth to school and enjoying time with my family. Last summer we went on two exciting trips to Southern California to visit a few of the popular amusement parks.
This summer, I have been taking the kids on outdoor trips. We have been to some parks, 3 different zoos and to the river a couple times to feed the ducks. For those of you that don’t like pushing around a stroller when you are outdoors, Kelty has an awesome line of child carriers to help carry your child on your adventure. We received the Kelty FC 3.0 Child Carrier Backpack for review. Now this can really come in handy when taking a hiking trip with the kids.
This child carrier is a top of the line, trail-based carrier that is designed with a unique 5 point adjustable harness to secure your child in the carrier. It is also equipped with an auto-deploy kickstand, under seat storage, a unique molded back panel, a sun hood, changing pad and more. The Kelty FC 3.0 child carrier is awesome and would be something that even the dads will want to use.
Here are a few of the Kelty Child Carrier Backpack features I want to share:
- Padded adjustable-height child’s seat
- Toy loops
- Carry/lift handles
- 50-pound weight limit
- Removable, washable cockpit pad
- Lightweight aluminum frame
- Organizer pocket

My husband absolutely loved ours when we lived in California. He went hiking all the time with our youngest. Little man loved seeing nature and DH loved getting a LOT of exercise : )

Nice! I could still use it for my three-year old.

That looks so sturdy and comfortable for both parent and child. Sweet T is getting bored with her stroller so we’ll be getting something like this soon.
Rachel says
We have one and love it. Our 5 year old still fits in it so it is great for hiking etc with small kids.

I have a regular carrier but this definitely looks better for hiking!

I like the 50lb weight limit! Should work for the girls easily enough.
Virginia from That Bald Chick says
I didn’t realize there were any carriers that had a weight limit of 50 lb! I thought the highest was 30!
