I will tell you first off that it wasn’t easy for me to find the Starbucks Bistro Boxes. Last month, I happened to get iced mochas at 3 different Starbucks locations and they did not the Bistro Boxes. That may be because they were Starbucks locations at 3 different airports and only have a small selected menu. Today I went into a grocery store that had a Starbucks and they did not carry them. Lucky for me, there was a Starbucks in the same parking lot, go figure. I thought, since it was a Starbucks store and not just a little store inside a store, that they would have them. And they did!
Now it was time to decide which one to try. There is a little bit of variety when it comes to their boxes. Here are the different choices:
- Cheese & Fruit Bistro Box
- Chicken & Hummus Bistro Box
- Chicken Lettuce Wraps Bistro Box
- Chipotle Chicken Wraps Bistro Box
- Protein Bistro Box
- Salumi & Cheese Bistro Box
- Sesame Noodles Bistro Box
- Tuna Salad Bistro Box
Since I like wraps, I chose to purchase a Starbucks Chipotle Chicken Wrap Bistro Box. I will admit that the others that were available looked a little tempting too! The Chipotle Chicken Wrap Bistro Box comes in a clear plastic box that contains whole-wheat tortillas, white chicken strips, Pepper Jack cheese, lime-cilantro slaw and tomato avocado salsa with a piece of dark chocolate.
I LOVED everything about this bistro box except the coleslaw. It wasn’t that it didn’t taste good because I didn’t even try it. I remember eating coleslaw as a child and NOT liking it. So because I am not a coleslaw eater, I tossed it. I did ask my husband if he wanted it and he doesn’t eat coleslaw either. When I seen the chunks of avocado in the salsa, I knew I was going to like it.
The piece of dark chocolate that was included in the box to finish off your meal makes for a sweet little twist.
Now that I have tried this one bistro box, I am really tempted to try the others. The next time I happen to stop by Starbucks for my iced mocha, I might just have to try another one to see if it is just as good as the one I had today.

I like Starbucks coffee but haven’t noticed the bistro boxes. Next time I stop in Starbucks I will need to be sure to pick one up because all of them sound pretty good especially the Tuna Salad Bistro Box. Thanks for sharing.

It sounds like they have a pretty good selection – it’s just a shame you cannot find them easily because they look like something I would definitely try!

Neat! I was just at our Starbucks Sunday and didn’t see these. Hopefully they will be available soon.

That looks yummy and you had me at the dark Chocolate part. Never thought of Starbucks as a lunch option … maybe I will add that to my list for a day I forget my lunch!;)
