One thing that I will never get tired of is seeing Chris Evans walk into a room. Earlier this month I had the opportunity to attend the Captain America: Civil War Press Junket where we had the opportunity to interview Chris Evans along with some of the other Marvel cast that you will see in this new upcoming movie.

While we had scheduled to have a few minutes in between interviews, Chris Evans actually walked into our interview with Paul Bettany which brought a smile to everyone’s face in the room. Having both Captain America and Vision/J.A.R.V.I.S. in one room was a blast for the short time we had!

Interview With Chris Evans “Captain America”

During my trip this month to Los Angeles I attended the Captain America Press Junket and was able to interview the the one and only Chris Evans “Captain America“…

Not only is he HOT in the movies, he is definitely as HOT in person!

Interviewing Chris Evans was definitely an amazing experience that I wish would have lasted a bit longer. You only get so many minutes with each cast member and you have to be quick to raise your hand to ask a question. During this interview, I made sure I was able to ask Captain America a question that my readers and I were really wanting to know.

I asked Chris: “What was it like, seeing yourself as Captain America for the first time?“. To find out his answer, you have to listen to my clip:

What qualities in Captain America do you find in yourself?

Chris Evans: Aww. How do you answer that question? He’s such a good guy. ‘Cause there’s no way to sound — all right, what do I find in myself? Um. You know. I think he’s always trying to do better. You know, I don’t think I’m as good of a man as he is, but I think as good of a man as he is, he’s always trying to improve, so I think the one thing I am working towards on a daily basis is just trying to find ways to evolve.

Do you find that that character has good qualities, and plays like a role model?

Chris Evans: Oh, completely. Yeah. When I took the role, there’s a kid that I grew up with. This kid named Charlie. You can all write this down. Charlie Morris. He’ll love this. But he won’t. He’ll hate this, ’cause he’s Capt. America. He’s like, the best kid I know. He was an Eagle scout. And being an Eagle scout is not easy. You’ve got to really do it for a long time. But he’s just such a good man, and he genuinely, genuinely puts himself last. He lives by a code. When nobody’s looking, he’s the man that he wants to be, and that’s impressive.

And so when I took the role, I told Charlie, “Listen. I’m modeling this after you.” And it’s such a great character to aspire to be. You know. It’s such a great character. If you’ve got to go to set every day and try and tweak your brain into a certain state of mind, that’s a pretty good place to be.

Who would win in a fight between Batman and Captain America?

Chris Evans: Oh. You’ve gotta go Capt. America. Come on. I thought you were going to say Capt. America and the Human Torch. That’s a tougher question. Batman? Batman? What does he have? Toys? Don’t write that. Don’t write that. It’s gotta be Cap…. What’s that? Well, you can’t — Superman is, that’s not even fair. Who wrote Superman? That’s not fair. What can he not do? You don’t even — well, I’m not about to say what I was about to say, ’cause that’s going to be printed, and then I’ll get fired.

If you had a 2nd choice for a superhero to play, who would you choose?

Chris Evans: You know, I’ll say it: I miss Johnny Storm. I liked the Human Torch. He was a fun guy to play. I liked, you know, I would say someone like Iron Man, but no one can touch Robert Downey Jr. It’s fun to play someone with life. It’s fun to play someone who enjoys embracing their abilities, and Johnny Storm was a lot of fun to play. And that costume was comfy. It was like a wetsuit. It was perfect.

Chris Evan Has A New Role In His New Movie Gifted Coming To Theaters This Month + Gifted Giveaway

I am a big fan of Chris Evans and I am really excited about his new movie Gifted that is coming to theaters this month! While Chris Evans will always be my Captain America, he has a new role in Gifted. He is now Frank Adler who is a single man raising his young spirited niece Mary who happens to be a child prodigy! While Frank wants a normal life for his niece, the grandmother has other plans. She thinks that Mary is a “one-in-a-billion” mathematical prodigy who should be specially tutored in preparation for a life devoted to mathematics which could separate Frank and Mary!

My Thoughts On Captain America: Civil War #CaptainAmericaEvent

After sharing all of my interview posts these last couple weeks I am excited that Captain America: Civil War is NOW playing in theaters! I actually seen it last month and am excited to take my family this weekend to see it! I want to see what side they are on, #TeamCap or #TeamIronMan!

Before my trip to Los Angeles for Captain America Press Junket I knew that we would be screening the new film. Even though I had already seen most of the Captain America/Avengers film I wanted to make sure I re-watched them all in the order they were released! I wanted to make sure I remembered the movies, in case I forgot or missed something good.

The Synopsis…

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in twocamps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Once we arrived at the movie to screen Captain America: Civil War I couldn’t be more excited. I had watched the trailers and I was excited to see some of my favorite Marvel characters back on the big screen. I was disappointed that the Incredible Hulk was not in this film but I heard that Marvel has plans for one of my other favorite superheroes in the future.

Once the movie started I was glued to my seat! I am a huge fan of Captain America but I also am a fan of IronMan so I was really anxious to see how the storyline of this movie was going to play out. I also couldn’t wait to see how all of the other characters were going to react to the division that Tony Stark has created.

I was also really excited to see more of Emily VanCamp on the screen who plays Sharon Carter aka Agent 13. She had a small role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier but has even a bigger role in this new film and a role that is a special one! I look forward to seeing more of these two together in the next film!

I think that Captain America: Civil War was one of the best Marvel films I have seen yet. I thought that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was my favorite but this new film is pretty good too! I am adding it to my favorites list. I love how the movie has you wanting to choose a side even if you are fan of both Captain America and Civil War. It was definitely full of action and one of those movies that keeps your eyes glued to the screen because you don’t want to miss not even a moment!
