Name Crayons From The Crayon House Review

When I was born my mom spelled my name different. So growing up, I never had many things that had my name spelled on it because how it was spelled was not common. I remember my mom had a personalized ink stamp made with my name which I think I still have somewhere.

For those that have uncommon names, gifts with our names is exciting. I recently received some crayons from The Crayon House on Etsy with my name which made me SMILE.

Since these are especially made with my name, nobody will be using these crayons anytime soon. I do love how colorful these are and the packaging with my name was pretty neat. I think these would make a great gift for anyone that likes to color with crayons!

How To Make A Cake In Your Air Fryer

I have been loving my air fryer this summer and wanted to see if making a cake was possible. I knew it probably was but wanted to give it a try myself. This weekend I took a box of chocolate cake mix and made a couple small cakes with my air fryer. While I was mixing the cake mix, I preheated my air fryer to 320 degrees so it would be nice and hot once the cake pan was ready to go inside.

Now I used an 8″x8″ baking pan and a mini loaf pan. I first added the cake mix in the 8″x8″ baking pan. I only filled it about a 1/3 full. Since I had extra cake mix I poured the rest of it into the mini loaf pan. I did NOT make these cakes at the same time. I do have quite a big air fryer but I wanted to cook each of them separately in the middle of the oven.

So I cooked both of these cakes in my air fryer at 320 degrees for 20 minutes. I thought the mini loaf pan would take less time but I checked it at 15 minutes and the center was still a little runny so I put it back in for 5 more minutes.

Now they may not be the prettiest out of the air fryer, but with a little frosting, they tasted so good! You can make your own cake mix but since cake mixes and frosting are so inexpensive, I thought this was a fun way to make a little dessert for a few bucks or less!

For July’s box I received a a Mexican Snowball ( Echeveria Elegans) plant. The echeverias happen to be my favorites of all the varieties of succulents so I was excited to get this one in my box since it is one that I do not have in my plant echeveria collection.

My second plant in the box was a Moon Silver (Pachyphytum) plant that I like too! I am a fan of the succulents with the fleshy leaves so I was happy to get this one too.
