When I became a teenager one of the first ways that I made extra money was by babysitting. Most of my experiences were good but I had my share of babysitting battles. This month I was one of the first to screen Disney’s Adventures in Babysitting that you will NOT want to miss! One thing that I find interesting is learning about how the Pixar films are made and what goes on behind the scenes to prepare these new and fun films that my family gets excited about. On my trip to Monterey last month for the #FindingDory event we met with Co-Director Angus MacLane and Story Supervisor Max Brace to learn how Dory’s story came to be and how it was developed and taken from the story’s script to storyboards.

One show that I have been watching the last few weeks is The Real O’Neals. When I found out that I would be meeting some of the cast of the show I knew I better be prepared and watch this show on ABC that stars a heartthrob from my teen years, Jay R Ferguson who played Ponyboy Curtis on The Outsiders in the 90’s.

Last week during my trip to Los Angeles I took a trip to the ABC Studios where our group met with some of the cast and the producers of the show The Family. This is a show that my family has been watching together for the last month and anxiously await each week’s new episode.

Today I watched The Jungle Book at the Dolby Cinema in Newark and had a great time with my kids! I was actually able to see this movie earlier this week and thought the movie was amazing and had been anxious all week to take the kids to see it too! This was our second time watching a movie at one of the Dolby Cinemas at AMC Prime and we absolutely LOVED the whole movie experience once again!
