Each day when I wake up it takes a while for me to get an appetite to eat breakfast. Some people want to eat at soon as they get up, but for me I usually like to get my day started before I eat anything. I will admit that sometimes I skip breakfast and know I shouldn’t.
When it comes to breakfast, here are a couple of our Kellogg’s FAVORITES…
When it comes to my kids, I am always insisting that they eat a good breakfast every morning, especially on the days when they have school. At their age I remember my mom and grandmother always reminding me how important breakfast was and now I am constantly reminding my children.
Did you know that 1 in 5 kids may go without breakfast every day? This saddens me because I couldn’t even think about sending any of my kids off to school knowing they didn’t have something in their bellies to get their day and be productive.
When it comes to breakfast, Kelloggs cares! In December Kellogg’s partnered with celebrity dad and actor Taye Diggs to launch their 3rd Annual Kellogg’s Share Breakfast Program to fight against childhood hunger. Right now families across the country can share a breakfast with a child in need by simply sharing a public service announcement that features Diggs on ShareBreakfast.com. For each view, share and comment, Kellogg’s will share breakfast.
