On the weekends I am always trying to come up with new breakfast ideas that the family will enjoy. We have our favorites but there are times when I want to try something new. Since my whole family loves eggs, potatoes and cheese I decided to go with an oven baked Tortilla Española which is a Spanish style omelette.
Million Dollar Spaghetti Recipe
“I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central for the National Pasta Association. I received pasta samples and a stipend to facilitate the creation of pasta recipes as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”
The last couple months I have been sharing different pasta dishes that I have created for my family from the Pasta Fits website. Since I love getting creative in the kitchen, the Pasta Fits website has only inspired me to create even more pasta dishes for the family for the holidays.
Since my whole family likes spaghetti I thought it would only make sense to finally make the Million Dollar Spaghetti that many make and brag about eating. I have been on Pinterest since it started and have seen my fair share of recipes. One that I see that my some of my friends have made is Million Dollar Spaghetti. Each of the recipes online are similar but also vary as well depending on the different cheeses used. …
Chili Cornbread Muffins With McCormick Skillet Sauces
I’m participating in the McCormick’s Skillet Sauce® blogger campaign and received compensation as part of the program.
One thing that I love is chili, especially homemade chili that doesn’t come from a can. I am one of those that also happens to love cornbread with my chili. The flavor combo is perfect therefore I decided to put them together in one little package.
With the new McCormick’s Skillet Sauces you can now make your own delicious chili at home in under 10 minutes.
Now I usually make my homemade chili in my crockpot that takes at least 4 hours until it is ready. I like these new skillet sauces by McCormick because now I can make chili on days when I don’t have the 4 hours to wait. I still plan on using my crockpot to make chili but I also plan to keep a package of the Chili Skillet Sauce on hand too! …
Pillsbury Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Cinnamon Rolls
The mornings are usually hectic at my house. With four children getting ready for school, there isn’t much time to relax. On the weekends though, that is another story. Weekends are my time to sleep in, be lazy and relax and usually enjoy a good breakfast with the family.
I received a little weekend indulgence package that included some Pillsbury goodies. I couldn’t wait to try the Pillsbury Cinnabon Bakery Inspired Cinnamon Rolls. I wanted to see if they tasted just as good as the Cinnabon rolls I have had in the past.
Strawberry Cheesecake Cake Batter Dip
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TruMoo for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
While many people enjoy snacking on chips and dip, sometimes having some yummy graham crackers or chocolate animal cookies and some cheesecake cake batter dip can be even better.
When looking for different snacks, chips and salsa can get boring. I love chips and guacamole but there are those times when you are craving something sweet. I love making cake batter dip. The kids LOVE it and I have to admit that I do too. Normally I use regular whole milk or whipping cream when making this stuff but this time I though I would get a little creative and use some of the Trumoo Strawberry Milk to give it some extra flavor!
If you are having a party for the kids it can be fun to add some characters into your dip before you serve it to them. My kids LOVE the Minion graham crackers and the chocolate animal crackers that I found.
My kids LOVE the Chocolate TruMoo Milk and was excited to see mom use the strawberry milk for something sweet in the kitchen. Trumoo is sweetened with just enough sugar and contains NO high fructose corn syrup, NO artificial growth hormones and NO HFCS.
For those wanting to make some of this yummy dip, please find the easy recipe below:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup white cake mix
- 1/2 cup cheesecake dessert mix/pudding
- 1/2 cup Trumoo Strawberry Milk
- 2 cups whipped topping
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
- 3 drops red food coloring (optional)
Directions:
- In a large bowl add dry ingredients.
- In another bowl add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Add wet mixture to dry mixture. Stir and place in bowl. Add a few sprinkles to top for decoration.
This is just a fun idea with the Trumoo Strawberry Milk. I bet this would be great using the Trumoo Chocolate Milk too. Looking for more Trumoo ideas, visit TruMoo on Facebook.
