This month I was invited to San Francisco for a special brunch with my kids to check out The Centurion Lounge by American Express that just opened to the public this month at the San Francisco Airport. This is a pretty neat place for those of you that like to travel…

The Centurion Lounge is the perfect place to hangout at the airport even when you are traveling with your kids. It is a place where you can wine and dine, work and play and even relax and recharge. It is the perfect place for those looking for a place to go when there is a layover.

When you first walk in you will be amazed with the wine selection even if you don’t drink wine. You will find a unique wine tasting area that is powered by Wine Emotion that allows guest to sample different wines from the Napa Valley that have been chosen by wine directory Anthony Giglio.

For those that have an appetite, you will find a seasonal cuisine that has been curated by Christopher Kostow, chef at The Restaurant at Meadowwood, as well as signature cocktails by renowned mixologist Jim Meehan.

While I didn’t try any of the wine or the cocktails, my daughters and I really enjoyed the variety of food that was served. There was a selection of food to please everyone from pancakes, chicken sausage, breads, fruits, yogurt and more!

Traveling can be tiring and it can also be stressful when you have little ones. The brand new Centurion Lounge is a place that features a dedicated kid-friendly soundproof that offers games and entertainment to keep the kids busy while you relax or get caught up on work.

For those that want to catch up on some work or maybe relax and read a book, The Centurion Lounge offers connected work spaces that include high speed Wi-Fi and outlets near every seat.

My daughters had fun playing with the different apps on the computer while I checked out all the amenities of the lounge.

If you are just looking for a place to kick up your feet, there are plenty of places to lay back and relax while waiting for your flight. You will also find luxurious shower suites that provide you with a way to get refreshed in between flights.

During our special brunch we got to watch some cool magic tricks from Dante the magician. The kids LOVED his magic tricks and so did I. Even my teenagers were interested in how Dante learned his tricks. He seriously had all these kids LAUGHING so hard it was great.

Not only did the kids see some cool magic tricks they also went home with some very awesome balloon animals from Dante. When it comes to magic and balloons, Dante had it covered.

Kids will be kids and they will always love toys especially games. One thing that this mom loves is games that my kids enjoy playing that are educational. We recently received the VTech InnoTab MAX to review and my youngest two children couldn’t wait to play with it. I smiled because I knew that the games that they were going to play would be educational rather they knew it or not.

My kids have the original VTech InnoTab that came out a few years ago so they were pretty excited to see what the new VTech InnoTab Max was going to have on it.

The VTech InnoTab Max is VTech’s 4th generation learning tablet that now features the FASTEST processor and up to six times the processing power of the previous generation with a 7″ high-resolution multi-touch screen display.

This tablets comes with 15 onboard apps that includes the Premium VTech Kid Connect, My Magic Beanstalk, Movie Maker, Art Studio, Wonder Cam Max, E-Reader with Story Dictionary and more. The Innotab Max also comes with one FREE Toca Boca app along with another 2 FREE apps that you can download from the Learning Lodge of your choice.

What I really like about the VTech InnoTab Max is that it comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery. With the other VTech tablet that we own you have to use double AA batteries. When you have two children using the tablets, batteries can go fast.

The VTech InnoTab Max gives your children the best of both learning worlds with access to more than 650 educator-endorsed, age and stage appropriate learning titles. There are also educational Android Apps that can also purchased and downloaded through the VTech’s Learning Lodge app store on the tablet.

The InnoTab MAX also features a kid-safe WiFi so your children can explore appropriate online games, videos and websites that have been pre-selected by VTech.

What I also think is neat about the VTech InnoTab MAX is that it comes with the enhanced 2nd generation version of Premium VTech Kid Connect at no additional charge. This is an app on the tablet that allows parents to exchange voice and text messages, photos, drawings and more in real time between the tablet and a smart phone app.

Being a parent means you have parental controls on the tablet. You can manage your child’s apps, web access, amount of time on the tablet and a progress log.

I think that this is a great educational toy for kids. It is recommended for children ages 3-9 but my 10 year old daughter is having lots of fun with it also. I downloaded the free games that came with the game along with about 7 other games and they have been having a blast. My children have a week off from school for the Thanksgiving holiday and this is definitely going to keep them busy.

Holiday Fashion & Deals At Osh Kosh B’gosh #GiveHappy

When I was a child back in the 80’s I remember wearing Osh Kosh B’gosh overalls. I even have pictures of me at around 1 or 2 years old wearing some striped Osh Kosh Overalls along with a cute little hat. This is a brand of clothes that I used to wear as a child and also a brand that I love my children to wear.

I LOVE shopping at my Osh Kosh B’gosh store with my son. The reason that I love the Osh Kosh B’gosh brand is that there clothes are durable and can be hand me downs for many generations. They don’t fall apart the first time you put them in the washer. Or the second, or third. Every time I go shopping at Osh Kosh though with my son we seem to find some really good deals.
I was really excited to see that the character t-shirts were only $6 and the jeans were on sale for only $12. On top of those deals the hoodies were also on sale! My son doesn’t really like wearing jackets but doesn’t mind a hoodie. I look forward to buying him a few new hoodies each fall/winter season.

Remember that I mentioned that I wore the Osh Kosh B’gosh overalls growing up? Well I do have to say that just for a second when I was shopping I wished my kids were smaller so I could splurge on some of these adorable overalls.

When I was younger I remember wearing pretty little dresses at Christmas time. My mom would always like me to dress up, especially if we were having our pictures taken. In addition to Osh Kosh being the go-to retailer for children’s everyday clothes, they also have some cute clothes just for the holidays as well. They have adorable party dresses, twirl-worthy skirts, cute sweaters and more. For the boys you will find fair isle sweaters, plaid button up shirts and fleece lined denim.

Not only does mom like the clothes at Osh Kosh B’gosh, my son really loves the clothes too! Here is my son in one of his new outfits from Osh Kosh, even including the shoes.

Even though my son likes to wear long sleeve shirts on a cold day, this mom won’t let him leave without at least a hoodie on. As I mentioned before he fussed about wearing a jacket but never complains if he has to wear one of his Osh Kosh hoodies. Now if they only made these in adult sizes to match.

His favorite color is blue and he definitely likes dinosaurs so he is pretty happy with this new outfit dad picked out.

Mom had to make sure he had a Osh Kosh hoodie to go with this outfit as well. My little man has to go to school in style…

Virgin Mobile Custom Lets Parents Be In Control #VirginMobileMom

Times sure have changed since I was a kid. I remember when I had to wait until I was 18 years old to get my own cell phone. Cell phones were also HUGE. It was almost like packing around your home phone in your purse. I am sure glad that technology has changed and we have the smartphones that are on the market today!

So now I have four children in which two are teens. One of my daughters already has a cell phone while my other daughter just was fine using her Apple iTouch to keep in touch with her friends and play her games online. Well now that she is older and wants to go to her friends after school, I wanted her to have a cell phone to be able to get a hold of her in case of emergency. What I didn’t want was to add her to my plan HIGH cell phone plan and double my bill.

Last month I received a Custom Mom Blogger Kit that included an LG Pulse cell phone to try the Virgin Mobile Custom plan and options.

I have to say that I am excited about the Virgin Mobile Custom plan that I have setup for my daughter. Instead of getting stuck in a contract on a high priced plan I am able to pay for just what she needs. I hadn’t really put much thought into prepaid phone options before but I think that Virgin Mobile Custom is perfect for my daughter.

Plans start at $6.98 and then you add what you need. Since my daughter likes to text I added the unlimited text on the phone. I then added unlimited talk and there is no data on her plan, but she is able to use her apps if she is on wi-fi. This is what we started with but I think I might add some data. They have a data options that you can add onto your phone as low as $1.40. Since this is a prepaid phone, my daughter also has the option of adding more to her plan during the month also. She does chores and earns extra money so if she really wanted more on her phone I would allow her to purchase extra options with her own money.

Now I could add data to her phone or I could also choose to add Unlimited Facebook, Unlimited Social, Unlimited Music and more. If you have a child that uses their cell phone primarily for it to make calls and Facebook, purchasing the Unlimited Facebook option onto your plan might be a good idea.

Virgin Mobile Custom’s purpose is to allow their users to build a mobile plan that fits their needs. What I also like is the parental controls. Since my youngest daughter will be in 6th grade next year which is “junior high” here, I want her to have a cell phone that I will be able to control, especially when she is in school.

I like that not only am I able to build the perfect plan for my children, I can also control when they can use their phone too! I know that teachers probably get so distracted with having to tell their students to not use their cell phones. If I was able to restrict my child from using the phone during class time, I wouldn’t have to be worried about my child’s cell phone being a distraction.

Tea Time With Teavana And The #TeavanaFallFavorites

One thing that I really enjoy drinking it tea. It is a beverage that I like hot, cold, over ice and the flavor varieties of tea is endless. I have finally experienced Teavana which has me wondering why I hadn’t found it sooner!

I am used to making hot tea at home in my Keurig or from teabags. Making a cup of Teavana tea was whole new experience. An experience that I really liked and couldn’t wait to make my second cup.

Not only does the ingredients in this Teavana tin look pretty cool, they smell AMAZING! This is Teavana’s Spiced Apple Cider. If I didn’t want to use it to make hot apple cider, it sure would make for some fragrant potpurri. …
