Michaels Passport To Imagination Craft Classes For Kids This Summer

One of my hobbies includes crafts with my kids. Last week I wanted to go shopping at Michaels to grab some items for a few different crafts I want to do with the kids this month. Since I knew I was going to be a while I signed them up online for one of the Passport to Imagination craft classes at Michaels.

The Passport To Imagination are classes at Michaels that are themed around some of North America’s most fascinating museums as a way to create an imaginary road trip for the kids. Each week during through August 1, 2014 Michaels will have 3 different classes for 2 hours that children can take where they make some cool crafts related to the museum of the week….

Regular Show The Complete Third Season Review #RegularShow

Since I often like to watch shows that are silly my kids take after me and watch silly shows too! One show that my kids LOVE to watch is the Regular Show on the Cartoon Network. They have watched all of the episodes available on Netflix and now have officially watched the entire third season too!

When I received the Cartoon Network’s Regular Show: The Complete Third Season on DVD in the mail to review my two youngest kids were ecstatic. While many may be disappointed that this isn’t on Blu-ray, my kids were excited because they have a TV with DVD player in their room. They knew this was something they would be able to watch without having to ask mom or dad to use the Blu-ray player. They had already watched the episodes from season one and season two that were available on Netlix and couldn’t wait to start watching the third season.

This three-disc DVD set features all 40 episodes of season three that has a fanbase that includes both kids and adults. That is more than seven hours of content including episode commentaries and exclusive bonus materials! The bonus features include “Characters Come to Life: Live Episode Read”, “Four Things You Didn’t Know about JG” and “JG Answers Why” featurettes, as well as 10 episode commentaries by series creator JG Quintel, writers and crew from the show.

I haven’t watched this DVD set but my kids have already watched the 40 episodes and can’t wait for the next season. Like I mentioned before they LOVE this show and I prefer them to have only DVDs.

Keeping It Smelling Good With Air Wick

Since I spend most of my time at home, I love to make my house smell nice. On the nice and cool days I enjoy opening the front doors, the windows and let the fresh air flow through my house. Since it is summer now, I will normally have my doors and windows shut early in the morning to keep the house cool. Since I have kids and I have pets, I like to use candles and air fresheners to keep my house smelling good.

I know that you have experienced a time when you have walked into someone’s house and not been a fan of how the home smelled. For those with cats and litter boxes, many of your houses probably smell like you have a litter box in it if you aren’t cleaning it multiple times a day as well as changing the litter. For those that smoke cigarettes, your house might smell like smoke. Luckily they have products like the products from Airwick that have been designed to help us make our homes smelling good!

I received some products from Air Wick to try and I am really enjoying the Freshmatic Ultra. This cool product sprays a little fragrance that is time released with three time interval settings to choose from to keep it smelling good in your home. I currently have the Freshmatic Ultra with the Snuggle scent right now in my living room. I currently have this on my mantle and my living room on the middle setting. For the last couple weeks my house has been smelling like fresh clean laundry. If you enjoy the smell of the Snuggle fabric softener you will enjoying using this Air Wick product.

Another Air Wick product I have been a fan of for a while now is the Scented Oil Warmers. I have the Air Wick Scented Oil Warmer with the Snuggle scent in my bedroom because a bedroom that smells good is always nice too.

The Snuggle scent is just one of the many enjoyable scents you will find with the Air Wick products. They also have Baby Magic which is perfect for a nursery or maybe bathroom and then the Cinnabon that is a must for the kitchen. These three fragrances are part of their Familar Favorites Collection. I LOVE the smell of cinnamon products so this is probably my FAVORITE Air Wick scent but I absolutely enjoy all three of these from this collection.

Transformers Age Of Extinction Movie Review, Sweepstakes & Giveaway

Last week I shared about the new Transformers movie that was coming out. Well this Monday I took the kids to see Transformers: Age Of Extinction and we all enjoyed it. I wanted to see the Transformers of course but also Mark Walhberg too! My son was really interested in seeing what dinosaurs where going to do in the movie.

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, watch the trailer below.

This movie is something that is very full of action. There are many scenes, like scenes from above skyscrapers that look REAL. It amazes me how the technology has changed where movies today have these crazy stunt scenes that leave you wondering how they did that. I also love the story line that has been brought in with Cade Yeager and his 17 year old daughter Tessa (Mark Wahlberg & Nicola Peltz). In the beginning Cade is telling his daughter Tessa how he has to look out for her until she is 18 and that she is not allowed to date boys. The plot thickens when Tessa’s boyfriend has to save Tessa and her father. For those with teenagers at home like me, this part touches the heart.

Like I mentioned this movie is full of action and full of fun Transformer characters. One of the Transformers you will want to look for when watching this movie is the Decepticon JUNKHEAP, a rear-loader from the Waste Management fleet.

While I really enjoyed this movie and all of the Transformers it was a long movie. I didn’t even check how long the movie was when I made plans. It wasn’t until 2 hours into the movie that I realized that I should have looked at the times. This movie is 2 hours and 45 minutes. If you are planning on bring children to see the movie, make sure you do it early in the day or evening. My son ended up falling asleep about 30 minutes before it ended and didn’t get to see the FANTASTIC ending. I am definitely buying this on Blu-ray when it comes out.

Bagel Spice Review & Giveaway

One thing I like to eat for breakfast is bagels and cream cheese. I actually don’t mind eating them for lunch or dinner either now that I have something to add on top of them. I received some of the Bagel Spice to review and think these spices are a GREAT way to give those plain ole bagels some FLAVOR.

Bagel Spice is a blend of premium spices that have been inspired by the popular Everything Bagel that you can find in many bakeries. These spices are great on bagels with cream cheese but they are also delicious with other meals. If you like to season your meat before you bake or grill, Bagel Spice is sure to give your meat some delicious flavor. I also heart that its pretty good on baked potatoes.

The Bagel Spice is currently available in three different flavors and in two different sizes. You can either buy the regular sized bottles or you can buy it in bulk and buy it in 5lb bags. Here is what you will find in each of the varieties.

So normally it is just my son and I that eat the bagels and cream cheese. When I added some of the Bagel Spice all of a sudden the bagels are getting some attention here at my house. My husband, the one who doesn’t care for bagels stole half of my bagel recently with the Bagel Spice and told me that whatever was on it was good. I plan on using some of the Bagel Spice in my next marinade.
