BubbleBum – Car Booster Seat Review

Ever had a situation where an extra car seat is really needed? For instance maybe your child is being picked up from school by their grandparents that don’t have a booster seat. For those that use booster seats for their children, there is the BubbleBum Car Booster Seat that you might want to have to keep handy.

The BubbleBum is a portable and lightweight inflatable car booster seat for children aged between 4-11. This car booster seat easily deflates and folds flat so that kids or mom and dad can carry it in a backpack or purse, making it perfect for vacations, rental cars, taxis, school pick up or car pooling.

The BubbleBum Car Booster seat weighs less than half a pound which makes it perfect for stuffing in a backpack. You use your mouth to inflate the seat which takes about 20 seconds or less. Once you are done using it, you deflate the seat and then fold it back up and pack it away.

Make sure when using this seat that you are using it the right way. Don’t forget to put the seat belt in the red clips to make sure your child is belted properly. The seat belt placement is very important when protecting your child when driving. Make sure that the belt is over their hips and not their stomach area.

We have the purple BubbleBum seat but it is also available in black and NEON pink and NEON yellow. I wish they would came in red or blue!

Disneynature’s BEARS Film Review + Trailer, #DisneynatureBears Photos & More #MeetTheCubs

When it comes to documentaries about animals and the wildlife, I think that Disneynature does an exceptional job with each of the films that they have produced. In theaters starting TODAY is the newest of Disneynature’s films, “BEARS“.

In this new film Disneynature’s film crew follows the journey of a mother bear (Sky) and her two cubs (Amber & Scout) through the cubs’ first year of life. Throughout this journey the cubs are taught some of life’s most important lessons.

The beginning of the film starts out with the family of cubs coming out of hibernation and having to face the bitter cold in Alaska. On a hunt for food, the bear family must make a descent down the mountains of snow with the threat of avalanches and other risks they must face.

As the season changes, Sky must work hard to find food for her and her cubs. During her mission to find food, they encounter a rival wolf pack and other predators that cause Sky, Amber and Scout to have to fight for survival. The bears main goal is to find a safe area where there is an abundant amount of salmon for them to eat.

My Disneynature’s BEARS Film Review

I had the opportunity to watch a screening of this film last month at Walt Disney Studios and really enjoyed it. Some documentaries can be long and can get boring after the first hour, but not “BEARS”. Those behind the production of the Disneynature films know how to create a documentary that grabs your attention, tells a great story and ends before you get bored with the film. This is a film that I know my two youngest children would enjoy watching, especially on the big screen .

While watching “BEARS”, I wondered how the film crew got so close to not only the bears but to the other animals like the predators that you will see. Not only does this crew have to have some skills with the camera, they also have to be prepared for survival just like the bears.

Can you imagine being this close to one of these bears?

Being a fan of Dr. Jane Goodall and all her efforts in conservation, I had to share this picture of Dr. Jane Goodall, Disneynature’s Ambassador in Alaska on set where BEARS was filmed.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier Film Review & Cast Lineup

The wait is finally over for all of you Captain America fans. Captain America – The Winter Soldier is in theaters today! Not to brag but I was lucky and got to see a screening of it last month in Los Angeles. I will be going again this weekend with the family, it was that good!

The synopsis – After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.

My Captain America – The Winter Soldier Film Review…..

This new movie, the second movie in the Captain America movie franchise is based on Marvel’s comic book series that was first published in 1941. This new movie has not only an excellent story line, it has amazing cast too!

When I got invited to see a screening of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, I honestly had to re-watch the first Captain America movie two times. I enjoyed comics as a kid and had a small collection, but never owned any of the Captain America comics. I wish I would have though because those comics are worth a good little fortune now.

After watching Captain America: The First Avenger a couple times I was prepared. I was ready to see what action was in store for Steve Rogers. As soon as the movie started the action never stopped, even after the credits started. On the way to the theater I was a little tired and was hoping a soda would give me a little energy boost. I didn’t even drink my soda or eat my popcorn, my eyes were glued to the screen. I honestly think this is probably one of the BEST Marvel movies that I have seen yet. Not only am I awaiting what is in store next, I now am really interested in following the stories through the comics.

Robert Redford – plays a high-ranking S.H.I.E.L.D agent and personal friend of Nick Fury.
Emily VanCamp – plays Agent 13, a young and attractive S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.
Cobie Smulders – plays a loyal agent to S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury.

Even if you are not a superhero fan you will want to see this movie for all of the action and stunts performed. These cast went through some extensive training to put this marvelous movie out. On our interview last month, Anthony Mackie “The Falcon” mentioned a 60 foot jump he was asked to do on the first day on the set.
