The Weight Watchers Brownie Bliss Prank

When it comes to food, I will admit that I have turned down different foods before because they were labeled as “diet”. For instance, I don’t like any type of diet soda. If it is the only thing to drink available, I would probably go without. I haven’t tried all diet drinks so therefore I might be missing out. Since my family can be a little picky when it comes to diet related foods, I thought it would be fun to play a little trick on them.

One day a box arrived from Weight Watchers that had some of their Brownie Bites. What you might notice is that the box does not say anywhere that it was from Weight Watchers, that part was the secret. Once we opened the box and unwrapped the blue packaging was a box of the Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss and the Triple Chocolate Brownie Bliss bars. All of my family, including me were eager to try these…

So we all tried the Brownie Bliss bars and my kids LOVED them. My daughter Hannah said the Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss was now her new favorite. After the bars were demolished from both boxes, I told them there was a little secret that I had been keeping. I have to also admit that I enjoyed this little prank…

In the box that Brownie Bliss Bars came in was another two boxes, but only marked as Weight Watchers. I knew these were inside, so I didn’t let anyone look inside the box because I didn’t want to ruin the surprise. It was pretty neat to see everyone enjoy these without knowing the brand behind the bars.

Right now there are two different flavors I personally like them both. If I had showed them that they were Weight Watchers before I tried them, I would have NOT got the reaction I did. They would have NOT been eager to try them and I might have been the one eating them all instead of my kids.

Here are the current two varieties of the Weight Watchers Brownie Bliss products:

Triple Chocolate Brownie Bliss™ – A decadent brownie layered with creamy, chocolate ganache and a chocolaty coating. Each individually-wrapped brownie is 80 calories.
Peanut Butter Brownie Bliss™ – A decadent brownie layered with creamy, real peanut butter and a chocolaty coating. Each individually-wrapped brownie is 90 calories.

Casio FX-9860GII Review + Giveaway

One thing that I always thought was a great tool to have in my math courses was a calculator. Sure you are supposed to be able to figure out how to do the calculations yourself, but it sure can be handy to have a calculator that you can check you work with. One of my teens happens to like math and whizzed right past Algebra, I wish I could have. What she happens to need this year is a calculator that does more than just your basic addition/subtraction and multiplication.

We received one of the Casio FX-9860GII Calculators to review. After taking a peek at the calculator, my first impression was that calculators sure have came a long way. I remember the ones that I used when I was in high school and they were no where near as smart. We received the GRAY version of this calculator but I want to mention that they come in HOT PINK too! The pink gives a cute splash of color to your child’s school supplies and if you have a child that loves math and loves pink, I bet they will LOVE the Casio FX-9860GII.

That is a variety of classes which proves this calculator can be used for many years while your child is in school or maybe even for you!

When my shipment of college books came in last week, my husband mentioned that he was glad that he didn’t have to pack those around. I have a backpack for my books but boy are they going to be heavy on my back. I am thinking that maybe I should get myself a rolling backpack like the Sunrise Rolling Backpack from J World New York that Hannah received to review.

Last year Hannah had a JWorld Rolling Backpack and LOVED it. When this new Sunrise Rolling Backpack arrived, Hannah’s gave me a big smile and told me that it was a COOL backpack. She immediately wanted to take it from me and fill it up with her new back to school supplies we had just bought.

What I like about this backpack is that it is very roomy. It can hold my daughters stuff for school, her lunch and even a jacket if she wanted to. I also like that it has a couple pockets for her to put various school supplies and a mesh pocket on the side for her water bottle.

The Sunrise backpack has been designed with a recessed three stage locking handle with push button. Lolly Wolly Doodle Review

For those of you with school aged children, the new school might have started already or might be starting soon! All four of my children officially started the new school year last Thursday and have enjoyed putting together new looks with their new school clothes each day.

This year my daughter Hannah has a new received a new dress from Lolly Wolly Doodle that she LOVES to wear. I received this cute dress for review and she wore it to our tea party we hosted this month because there was no way she was waiting for school to start to wear it.

When I opened the package and seen the dress, I knew Hannah was going to love it. She is one of those girls that enjoys dressing up in dresses and getting pretty. I was also impressed on the quality of the dress as well as the size. With my daughter is is sometimes hard finding clothes that fit her shape. This dress fits and has room for growth.

What makes this dress even more special is the monogram on the front. This dress was customized with Hannah’s initials in cute pink scripture.

Reebok Running Shoes At Famous Footwear

“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Reebok. I received a Famous Footwear gift card to purchase a pair of Reebok shoes to facilitate my review and to thank me for participating.”

This month I was on a mission to find some CUTE Reebok shoes that I had seen online. There are actually a few different pairs that I wouldn’t mind having. I went to a few different Famous Footwear stores in search of these shoes….

Now I probably should have ordered these shoes online, but I honestly like to try on clothes and shoes before I buy them. My foot is more on the wide-width side and I have a flat foot, so running shoes are something I try before I buy.vSo as I mentioned before I was on a mission to find these cute shoes and at each Famous Footwear store I found Reeboks for the guys. Well some of these I would say that both men and women could wear, but nothing with the PINK like I was hoping for.

So after going to a few different stores, I figured that I might was well give up. I had my husband and son with me and decided that I would spoil them with a pair of shoes. It had been a while since my husband had a new pair of running shoes, so I told him to pick out a pair of the Reebook running shoes for men.

After discussing which of the Reeboks look best, my husband decided on the Reebok Zig Kick in the Black/Silver. He was so excited about getting these shoes that he wore them out of the store, along with my son that scored some shoes too!

Even though I was not able to find the women’s Reebok shoes that I wanted, I am not giving up. I LOVE that Famous Footwear is always having sales and I will be going back soon to look for these shoes again. Or if I can’t find them, I can always shop for these on the Reebok website.

As for the shoes, my husband LOVES them. He says that they are the most comfortable and lightweight running shoes he has ever wore. I personally think they are stylish and would look cool whether you are running or just wearing them as your regular daily shoes. They have a pair of this same style in the Black/Red color too! I have been getting shoes at Famous Footwear since I was a kid. My mom used to take me there on the Buy One Get One 50% OFF sales so that she could get me two new pair of shoes for a good buy.
