A couple weeks ago my 4 year old son got to experience having no power for the first time. My power has went out before, but either when he was younger or when he was sleeping and didn’t know. He was a little scared but thanks to Energizer, this time I was prepared with some products that everyone should have around their home.

For years I have been playing Bejeweled. I started with the original PC version over 10 years ago which never seemed to get boring no matter how many times I played. For the last few years though, I have just been playing the Bejeweled Blitz version on Facebook when I feel the need to play.  This past weekend I finally downloaded Bejeweled 2 Deluxe.

If you have never played the Bejeweled, it is a game where you swap multi-colored gems to make a match of three. When you make a match, you gain points, the gems disappear and then move down for new gems to be placed on the screen. If you happen to get lucky and match four or more jewels, a special gem will appear that can be used to blast away all the surrounding gems, or zap all of the gems on the board that are the same color.

For me, I have been used to playing the quick version of Bejeweled where you only have like a minute to match as many gems as you can. With Bejeweled 2, you can play untimed, timed, never ending and there is even  fun puzzle game. One thing I like about playing on the PC too is that it saves my high scores. I like to try to outscore myself.
