There are so many different places that I wish I could visit one day. For one, I want to be able to visit each state in the United States before I get too old. Since there are 50 states and I have only seen 8 (not counting the states I have flown over), I would have to say I have a lot of states left to see. My goal is to buy on one of those fancy motorhomes when the kids are grown and take trips as often as possible!

In addition to seeing all the states in the US, I would love to be able to travel to some of the countries that I have only got to see on tv shows and movies like Germany, France and Italy. When it comes to countries, this girl has only seen Canada when I was about 10 and Mexico when I want on one of those cheap 3 day cruises about 10 years ago. I definitely want to take another cruise, but one that goes to the Caribbean or maybe even Australia. I am a girl that LOVES the ocean, so taking a cruise to some exotic place is something I would really enjoy!

When I think of vacation and relaxing, I think about pretty beach with white sand and pretty blue water. Don’t forget about the yummy drink with the umbrella too!

What is your dream vacation consist of?

Many of you might be leaving this weekend to visit family for the holidays. Sometimes we visit the family on Christmas and Christmas Eve, but with the crazy weather we have been receiving lately, we are staying safe at home. For those that plan on heading out on the road to visit family and friends, here are some holiday travel tips from LifeLock that I think are helpful and want to share:

1. Have a neighbor occasionally park in your driveway so it’s not easy to spot when you are on vacation.
2. Have a neighbor pick up your mail so it’s not so evident you’re away.
3. Put your office address on luggage tags, not your home address.
4. Be cautious what you share on social media.
5. Alert your credit card companies and banks that you will be raveling.
6. When using a public WiFi, consider logging in using a VPN (virtual private network).
7. Thieves can add small devices to an ATM that are almost unnoticeable. These ATM skimmers can copy your card information almost seamlessly. Use caution and monitor your online banking statements when traveling.
8. When traveling which children, they should know all pertinent contact information in case they get separated.
9. Check your health insurance if traveling abroad, health insurance policies can vary on medical expenses as well as emergency evacuation coverage.
10. If you are flying, plan on arriving at the airport or station at least two hours early. The holiday season means everyone is traveling, which means traffic jams and long lines; giving yourself this margin will pay off in reduced stress, and may mean the difference between a missed flight and one caught in plenty of time.
